Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Genuine Moroccan guest house - clean and comfortable. But the best part was the friendly, helpful service. Our host, Brahim, organised everything - trips out to various sites, taxis to and from the airport - he made sure we got to where we needed to be. The staff were delightful - going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely rooftop spaces. Within easy walking distance of the square, markets and restaurants.

I'm giving two points only for the hotel's facilities and other employees other than the manager. We stayed in this hotel between 14-16 October. We had made a reservation through booking, but when we arrived at the hotel, we made the payment in cash. When we returned from vacation, I received a notification from Booking that "the property has canceled your stay" and it is not among my completed reservations on booking.com. I contacted the hotel via whatsapp and asked them to confirm that I have completed my reservation. I also sent photos of my stay at the hotel, but they gave no reply and blocked me! I was a member of genius, booking.com's loyalty program, and the number of completed bookings was important to me. The attitude of the hotel was very bad!! Booking.com said they couldn't do anything because I wasn't given an invoice from the hotel. IF YOU ARE GOING TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL, MUST REQUEST AN INVOICE TO PAY OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM. By the way, the person who blocked me from whatsapp WAS THE MANAGER OF THE HOTEL, terrible management.

Just couldn't believe it. The Riad look just like normal typical old red bricks building in the area of medina. But once inside, it was fantastic Riad with its fountain, deco and a nice panaromic view on the roof terrace restaurant. The room for 3 of us on the ground floor was clean. The room service was also good, as they made-up the room and changed your towel everyday. The bathroom with hot and cold shower were also in good condition. Service wise - we were very satisfied.

The riad was very cozy and relaxing and definitely represents the Moroccan culture! The staff were very welcoming and provided teas and biscuits when we arrived. Also, they were very helpful giving useful directions and to-Do tips in Marrakech. The hotel is within walking distance to the old Médina and all attractions you can find on the map! Worth the price! Highly recommended!

From the contact (due the booking period) until the last day all is excellent. Nice location, about 15' walking to Jem el Fnaa central square. Easy area without any problems and secure. Staff and specially Brahim is so good persons. Hospitality, help and daily contact is superb. The room is very clean with wifi signal very good and A/C. A very pleasant stay in Marrakech like this is so helpful to explore the old (Medina) and new city. Very nice the breakfast we order in terrace.

50 friends came from Europe for more than a week to stay at Hamra Urban Hardens Hotel. And there was another big group of foreigners who came at the same time. Despite the services was very prompt, all the staff members were very friendly especially the manager Mr. Mike who was very patient, kind, open hearted and helpful. The room, bed and towels were daily cleaned perfectly. The food was very tasty, the nature found in this hotel especially the 7th floor with many plants and trees despite that in Beirut the green spaces are very rare nowadays. And despite all these facilities, it was among the cheapest hotel found in Beirut. Thank you very much for your lovely hospitality, we really felt lots of pleasure in this hotel, it was like visiting our own family that we missed it already!!!

We had contacted them for an airport shuttle and the car was there on time and guided us to the hotel front door. We were greeted by the owner and he was very friendly. He told us that breakfast was 5 euros but that we could pay at the end of our stay. As a local who has lived in both Canada and the US, he understood the differences in culture so he told us exactly what to expect with every visit. The hotel was clean, quiet and fair priced. They are planning to renovate though so the prices might go up a bit. It is very central and about 10 minute walk to the old city center and the souks. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was having to pay our stay cash and not knowing about it beforehand. Also, I would suggest a tourist place like this hotel to keep a stash of change as tourists must withdraw from ATMS which only hand out 200mad and those are not accepted by local places because they almost never carry change. Overall a great stay though!

First things first: the staff were really helpful, even helped us cancel the nights we had booked but we did not intend to stay. But let's go the bad part: the place stinks. Although they try to soften the smell by putting incense, this does not help, it actually worsens the odor. Initially we had planned to stay 4 nights, but stayed only two nights as it was not at all pleasant to stay in the place. On the first day, the bathroom drain clogged due to lack of maintenance. The bedding was torn and grimy, and all our clothes start to smell of cigarettes, even though we asked for a non-smoking room. Definitely would not recommend this Riad.

Local to the souk, great hospitality and service. Very friendly staff and safe as well. Perfect location and lovely rooms. The deck was lovely in the morning for coffee and a very tranquil setting. Beds were the perfect number for our party and comfortable.
