My family I had an enjoyable five night stay in one of the spacious and comfortable two suites. there were on first floor and the view was on the courtyard. it's very charming place in the the old center of Marrakech don,t forget to take city map for the first day The Moroccan decor throughout the riad is very tasteful,...

My experience staying here was fair. The location is good and everything functions properly but I give it an average rating because we stayed in several other riad's in morocco (same price range) that were quite a bit better, or at least had a distinguishing factor, which Dar Balthazar did not, in my opinion.

We arrived late in the afternoon after a long travel. Like a review said below, you get asked to pay straight away. The woman working in the riad is friendly, but can't speak proper English. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, Moona is the Manageress assisted by Jemela both speak good English and would do anything to make your stay pleasant. It is a quite Riad decorated traditionally with spacious suites overlooking the open air area in the center of the Riad. This is where breakfast is served between 7-10.30am.
