We stayed 4 nights at Riad Camilia and having read all the previous reviews, my expectations were very high. I was certainly NOT disappointed. As we exited the airport, our transfer was already waiting for us patiently. We arrived in the Medina and were met by our host Nicholas. Nicholas was superb throughout our stay. All Riad matters were well...

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Camilia. The place is perfect and our host Nicholas was just perfect. Also very well situated in the medina. We stayed in room no. 3 which was very nice with a private balchony. The roof top terrace was also splendid. The food was also fine. Avoid eating at Gastro MK which is highly overrated.

I don't even know where to start...it's beautiful, it's authentic, it's comfortable and it was one of my favorite parts of my trip to Morocco! The manager, Nicolas, was absolutely wonderful! He helped us with pretty much...everything! He was kind, gracious, knowledgeable and made our trip so easy. He even offered my cousin a cooking session with the riyad's cook,...

Nicolas met us at the point in the medina where cars could go no furthur. His assistant had a luggage wheelbarrow, and he deftly guided us through the busy lanes until we went through a dark tunnel that ended at the riad entrance.(5-7min walk) Stepping through, we were at once in a calm, serene, supremely elegant hall that opened up...

We recently spent four heavenly days and nights at the Riad Camilia. This riad is so beautifully designed and furnished you may not even want to venture out. We asked ourselves every morning at the beautiful and abundant breakfast on the terrace if we had died and gone to heaven. But if you do venture out, you will be well...

My wife and I stayed here during our mini-honeymoon, spending three nights in Marrakech. We had spent a couple of evenings a few months before hand trawling through the various Riads on offer, finally settling on this one because the reviews were good and the pictures looked nice. We subsequently didn't give it any more thought, and had almost forgotten...

This is a beautiful Riad with top notch service. The manager, Nicola, goes beyond the call of duty to help and make your stay special. My cousins arrived from Italy and we were able to organize dinner at the Riad for that night. It was delicious and fresh and served on the charming terrace. The rooms were spacious and beautifully...

I globally travel 6-8 times per year as a professional. Thus, my opinions are based on a 30 year history of global travel and knowledge of accommodations. The Riad is absolutely beautiful. Definitely stay in their largest suite, which is 5 large beautifully decorated rooms! The price of $225 is a pittance for what one receives! The manager, Nicolas, is...

We stayed at Riad Camilia five years ago when we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. I was enthralled not only by the elegance of the riad but by the outstanding service especially by the manager, Nicolas. We kept in touch with Nico through the years and when I brought up the idea of celebrating our renewal of vows at the...

Lovely hotel. The door opens and it's even better than the pictures portray. Stylish decor and very spacious with lots of places to sit and relax and spotless everywhere. The rooftop garden is stunning and surprisingly quiet, with plenty of places to sunbath, eat breakfast or dinner, read etc. Our room was plenty big enough and had everything we needed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a sumptuous and authentic ryad with intact oriental and moorish atmosphere. The owners have invested time and passion to decorate this little palace of the Marrakech medina with wonderful objects and paintings found in local flea markets and antique shops around the world.

The patio (courtyard) is an area of calm and relaxation where you find a small pool. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom and a suite overlooking the courtyard from the first floor. The master suite is absolutely gorgeous and we strongly advise you to spend a few nights there with your loved one. ... more   less
