This was the first time we went to Marrakech and we found this hotel by chance as we didn't want an all inclusive hotel as we weren't travelling with the kids. The hotel isn't really a 5 star hotel as we would know it, but it was clean, and suited our needs. The Pros: It is located outside of the busy town centre, around 10 mins by taxi from the airport. We paid around 50DH from the hotel to the main square each way, which wasn't bad. The staff were friendly. Food was good, we went half board, so we had breakfast and evening meals included, but we could swap the evening meal for lunch of we planned to eat out that evening. We had two spa sessions the hamam and a full body massage together..both were good. One of the girls was a bit cheeky and asked for a tip, even though we were going to tip them anyway, I guess, if you don't ask, you don't get! It was quiet, we went in half term and the hotel seemed deserted, which was great for us. The hotel provided better exchange rates then the airport did, and similar to the bank up the road. Also there is a Carrefour 5 mins walk from the hotel. The Cons: The hotel could do with some renovations, slightly dated look. Would recommend getting a room poolside instead of roadside as it can be very noisy early in the morning from the passing traffic. The outside pool is freezing cold, but that didn't bother us too much. You have to barter with the taxi drivers outside. Dont use the taxis the hotel recommend, use the ones parked outside and haggle them down by at least half. Not much else within walking distance to the hotel

Overall, it was a good, nice hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily and spacious with good facilities. The pool area is nice and picturesque. I DID NOT appreciate the SLY behaviour of one of the women at the front desk however. It was my first day and I asked her if I could book a taxi through the hotel to go to the souks in the medina (a 10 minute drive) as I was unaware there were going to be other taxis outside. She then charged me 300 dirhams for a 10 minute journey and said "you should book a taxi for the way back too because taxis are really hard to find in the medina area". So in total, 600 dirhams... I then spoke to the taxi outside and he told me he would drop us back instead for 50 dirhams. The medina was also FULL of taxis so she basically just lied to my face for money. Not sure whether she gets a commission or something, but regardless, it made me feel uncomfortable as I should feel in good hands in my hotel and not in the hands of scamming behaviour. 50 dirhams compared to 300 is ridiculous and a robbery. Breakfast was really nice, a wide array of food and choices and was really tasty and traditional too, a great highlight of the hotel. However, if you don't go to dinner bang on 7pm or 7.30pm, the food gets rather cold and the cuts of meat served aren't good quality at all (fatty and chewy) I wouldn't say the dinner food is of 5* standard, more like 3/4. The beds aren't the comfiest, the pillows are really flat however, this wasn't too much of an issue for me. The reception (apart from the woman who sorted the taxi as explained above) were helpful and friendly. A very nice stay in a nice hotel but could be better.

Stayed as part of a tour group for 3 nights at the end of our trip . Our room was a good size , beds & pillows were comfortable. Storage for clothes was ok . Safe worked . Sadly no walk in shower although this had been requested . Our view looked out onto the Main Street , our balcony had one chair . There were workmen on the roof at one point , so a lot of dust & some debris. A very different experience in comparison to some of the photos on their website. The outside terrace with the pool however was very nice . Sunbeds clean & comfy . Pool easy to enter with a staircase but no handrail. Towels provided. We had several drinks from the bar on the terrace & also shared a pizza for lunch, which was very nice & the prices were reasonable. We ate one evening at the buffet in the restaurant. It was ok , nothing amazing but then we only really wanted a snack not a full meal . For over £40 we didn’t think it was good value for the items we ate but I guess that was our fault for not being hungry!!! Room service was suggested but really didn’t want to sit in a bedroom eating food , as we were unable to use the balcony with only one chair . We ate elsewhere for dinner the next 2 nights . Breakfast was a nice surprise. I had an omelette one day which was very good . A great selection of fruit, salad , breads , pastries etc . Staff were friendly & polite . There were some good points but felt letdown by the restaurant offering in the evening. I had read on the website there was a Thai Restaurant but that didn’t seem to be open .

Hotel not up to a 5 Star resort, 3 stars at best, stayed 2 nights before travelling to other cities for excursion and 1 night before flying back to the states, THE ROOMS AC didn't work in most of rooms given, changed rooms and TV didn't work. No information in rooms as to how things work or on nearby places or taxis. Our last night of stay we requested pool view rooms and was given rooms that seemed to be on the older side of hotel where nothing works in the rooms not AC, light fixtures, sinks in bathroom was falling apart. THE FOOD was always cold and had no flavor, the birds were constantly flying in and out of restaurants helping themselves to the bread and pastries, flies constantly in pitchers of juices, waitstaff was very friendly and tried their best to replace juice pitchers THE POOL lovely and they provide you with towels poolside at the hut behind the pool bar.Overall a nice place but could be made so much better with a little care, not yet a four star sorry. As a travel coordinator I will not be using this hotel in the future and I cannot recommend to anyone.

The hotel is located in a quite area with other hotels. there is a small mall near by (5 minute walk). The breakfast and diner buffet was above average with many varieties of food choices. The staff at restaurant were very helpful and busy helping diners. Rooms we somehow spacious with good view.

Great surroundings, professional and kind staff, excellent spa, hair salon. I had a hair cut, pedicure, reflexology, and wish i had more time to go into the hot pool with jacuzzi and sauna. Great variety of food offerings for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean, quiet, nice space, view of gardens.

Stayed there from the 09 till the 11/05/2023 and the air conditioning in the room was not working, with temperatures of nearly 40ºC at night. First night couldn't sleep. On the morning of the second day, before going for a day tour in town, informed the reception of the problem and they said they would send a technician. When I came back the problem persisted and I had to lay on the floor, next to the balcony window, to get some outside breeze and try to sleep for a few hours. Apart from that the Hotel was great.

Palm Plaza hotel and Spa (five stars). Marrakech This hotel was overbooked at Easter and put us in the Palm appartment Club (tree stars We found this place on hotels.com) in the garden and closed the gate, a place without the five star facilities - only three. We, a family of four, had booked the Palm Plaza for 7 nights, together with another family. The two families received no apology or compensation from the hotel. Only a lot of discomfort when we raised the matter with the hotel director. We booked via lastminute.com. We repeated the matter several times to them via chat, telephone and email. They finally contacted the hotel but they did not resolve the situation or compensate us. (We paid NOK 57.000 for our holiday)
