This is a lovely riad - Bashir and Abdul are always on hand to answer any questions you have and help in any way. The rooms were clean, comfy and warm (thanks to friendly Fatima!). The whole riad is beautifully decorated, and the huge brekky was yummy. I 100% recommend this place!

Amazing service by Bachir and his team. They were extremely helpful with everything (organizing tours, assessing quality of carpet we bought, tips on going around, etc.) Bachir was super hands on with everything. He always checked in with us on how we are doing. The riad - itself - was amazing too!!! The decor is super beautiful. Overall, amazing riad...

we were so happy to arrive at this riad after a day of sub-par travel. were immediately greeted with mint tea on the roof and everything was so calm and peaceful, a breath of fresh air. Started our trip in Morocco here and couldn't ask for more. The spaces available to relax are both many and beautiful; breakfast on the roof is lovely. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of advice and ideas on where to visit in our short stay. They also booked our bus tickets to Essaouira which was really helpful....

A recent trip with 5 girlfriends to Marrakech was a long overdue visit to this fascinating city. I cannot recommend Riad Le Coq Berbere highly enough. The rooms are beautifully and simply decorated, and the furniture and facilities are more than satisfactory. It is a cool retreat from the hustle and bustle of the souks. The breakfast is simple but...

Grea location in the heart of the medina. Several great restaurants just steps away from the riad. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable. Happily, the AC was working well. Bathroom was clean and a good size. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Riad is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, but it's really the people here who set this apart. We visited and were hosted by Mohamed, Bashir, and Abdul - each one very kind, courteous, and attentive. They went completely overboard to try to make up for a small mistake in our reservations, but seem like they would have gone out of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the beginning there were two friends, Barbara and Elizabeth, and the charm of the Red Town. In an afternoon, walking in a quiet part of the Medina, called Riad Laarouss, close to Ben Youssef Mosque, they saw an old woman with a tattoo on her chin, standing in the street door. According to the traditional Moroccan hospitality, the old woman offered them mint tea and cakes.
