My friends and I were booked here by our tour company for the first two and final night of our nearly two weeks in Morocco, March 2022. It's definitely one of the most accomodating and spacious places the three of us stayed. Upon arrival, our bags were taken to our room, we were given an ornate key, and we were treated to mint tea on the roof.

Every time we left for our daily activities, we would come back to towel sculptures, bottled water, and rose petals. They were a tad annoying to remove, but that's Moroccan luxury.

We each had a firm bed with plenty of pillows and charging ports, and the shower provided strong hot water. The light switches took a little trial and error to figure out. You could hear birds in the atrium each morning outside our door, which was nice.

Breakfast was provided on the roof in an insulated cafe area. We never used the spa services or pool, but they looked good. The riad is in walking distance to good restaurants and Jemaa el Fnaa Square, less than 20 minutes.

Stayed here in Dec 2023 with family.

This was our longest stay during the recent trip to Morocco…3 nights.

The location is well placed at the edge of the Medina, about a 700m walk from the famed Djemaa Al Fnaa. The positive is that your bags can get delivered straight to the doorstep without any issues or transfer. One can also walk all over town and to the main sights very easily.

At the same time, the hotel vibe is still small hotel and homely, with very typical Moroccan tiles, earthy colors and thick stucco covered walls. And the loud sounds fade away when one steps inside the hotel.

Our room though on the smaller side was very comfortable and very stylish…a lovely introduction to Morocco. The only complaint I have is the lack of power points to charge our electricals…we had to unplug lights whenever that was needed.

The rooftop area and restaurant are very pleasant, and have a direct view of the Koutoubia Mosque (also a short walk). The food was surprisingly good, and I must commend the cook for the lovely Moroccan meal we had there. The breakfasts were decent, if a bit standard.

Overall, a very respectable stay and I would recommend basing yourself here while in Marrakesh.

When I arrived, i was greeted by Anouan. He took me upstairs to the rooftop. By a tea he explained me all the interesting places to see in Marrakech!, told me where i could get data for my SIM Card, where the ATM is and later gave me a list of restaurant recommendations! Bahia Salam is super central located, everything is within walking distance. From outside you wouldn't expect such a great place. We stood at the Marrakech Suite which is very big and tastefully decorated. The Hammam treatment for the two of us with massage (booked in advance) was just great! The food (breakfast and lunch we had) is excellent and we could always enjoy our own wine when we came back from dinner. The place for breakfast is, in our opinion, not so nice but if the weather is good, you can sit outside!

The Riad is on a main street but you don’t hear any of it inside the riad.
We arrived pretty early and our room wasn’t ready yet so they sent us to the rooftop where they gave us some complementary tea to welcome us.

The room we had was on the first floor. spacious with a/c in the room which was very important to us. The bathroom was somewhat clean just old. But it was nicely arranged.

They have a small pool on the rooftop which was enough for us just to cool off.
The breakfast area is at the rooftop too.
Breakfast was meager and could’ve been better. But it was enough to get by til lunch.
The spa downstairs was quite nice. I had a Hammam which was good.

The Riad is situated near El badi palace and just 8 mins walk to Jemaa el fna sqaure and the souks (markets). Plenty of restaurants around the Riad.
Even though there are plenty of other Riads all around i would probably stay here again. Price was quite reasonable too.

We stayed for two nights. The electric power broke down twice and toilet did not always flush well. The breakfast offerings were basic for a place that charges 100 euros per night (no fresh quizzed orange juice in a town with abundance of oranges). The hotel will charge you 33 euros for washing 10 items of laundry.

Great location. Nice plate of fruit, dates, and nuts left in the room as a welcome package. The place is clean and quiet. The room was on the smaller side, but still comfortable for me as a solo traveler. It would have been a difficult space for two. Great AC which was needed in the summer with daily temperatures exceeding 100 F. I was disappointed with breakfast. The hot items were kept in covered pans over heating elements, and they all ended up overcooked

Great location for exploring the excitement of the city - just short walks to the Medina, spice markets, Jardin Secret and the Bahira Palace. And then a haven of calm at the Riad, with friendly helpful staff, a space to relax, enjoy the sun or take a cooling dip on the rooftop terrace. We also had a hamman and massage - heavenly and definitely recommend. (While we were there, we went and had a meal in a restaurant that had been recommended to us in a 5 star hotel. Nice enough meal but agreed we'd rather be staying in Riad Bahia Salam - particularly for a more authentic experience and for the location).

The staff (particularly Salah at reception) were all so kind and genuinely helpful. They made us feel very welcome and would chat to us every day. Every member of staff was just lovely. My daughter and I felt very safe and looked after in the Riad. The Riad itself is simply beautiful. It really provided the perfect stay especially the beds being so comfortable and the air con cooling the room perfectly, we looked forward to getting back to our room after a hot day outside! It really is a perfect place to stay and very centrally located. Thank you to all the staff.

如果您正在尋找酒店接待員的良好服務,這不是您的選擇。 接待處的那個人很粗魯,選擇推卸責任,不想承擔任何責任。

他向我提高了嗓門,還指著我。 If you are looking for a good service from the hotel receptionist, it is not your choice. The man in the reception is rude and choose to pass the buck, doesn’t want to take any responsibility.

He raised up his voice to me and pointed to me.

Very nice hotel.
The rooms have a traditional look, but are modern inside. The only negative thing is that it was quite hot in the hotel and the climate system didn't help a lot. In general the look of the hotel is beautiful and oriental.
Overall breakfast was alright, but nothing special.
The pool area is quite relaxing.
We really liked the service of this riad. Especially Mouhsine helped us a lot and made our stay in this riad much better. He's a very kind and dedicated person in his job.
With it's location near the Bahia palace and the souk Jemaa el-Fnaa, it's a top notch hotel for visiting the old town of Marrakesh.

The hotel will arrange to pick you up from the airport and take you back for an additional charge. Can’t remember how much but it was reasonable and both drivers arrived on time.

The staff advised us that we could drink our own alcohol on the roof top terrace as other guests were. They even directed us to a supermarket, a short taxi ride away, where there was a good selection of beer and wine in the basement.
