Marrakesh is a lively, fast-paced city, which can be slightly overwhelming when you first arrive. We organised a taxi through the riad, because negotiating a decent price with Moroccan taxi drivers can be stressful when you've just arrived. We were met at the taxi and our belongings were carted along for us as we were led down the winding alleyways...

Riad Elytis is a welcome oasis from the manic streets of Marrakech. The Riad itself is beautiful, with an ornate tiled courtyard, roof terrace and opulent rooms; however the real gems of this riad are the staff, who are always on hand and always eager to make your stay as perfect as they can. This place is in a great location, near Dar Pasha. Rarely have we experienced such a friendly and attentive staff. Food is very good with a decent local wine selection. This was our first time in this Riad and hopefully not the last. Fanny and staff, thank you for a memorable stay.

Good location. Rooms are excellent. Staff and meals were perfect. Transport well organized. I have no negative comments.

“Higher floors may be quieter only because of the doorbell. We were in the sharazade room which was on ground floor. Don't book holiday taxis took an hour and half to pick us up when arriving in Marrakech , cost £50 when you could get a taxi half the price.”
