Went above and beyond to welcome us, driving me around the market to find the best place for new luggage and helping negotiate with the parking guys nearby. Clean, spacious rooms. Great breakfast also. Highly recommend.

The staff are fantastic The place is really really clean Of course on Marrakesh you get hassled to buy hash or someone wants to show you around and expects to get paid , but that’s just part and parcel . It is on a tiny street but I didn’t really feel threatened in any way. Just a bit hassled now and again. We loved it , it was a little oasis in the middle of the crazy Medina . Food was great rooms were great. The terrace was amazing . Well worth a visit really gorgeous . This is not the four seasons or Mandarin oriental it is a beautiful Riad, worth a visit, all people we spoke to who stayed here loved it. It has just 5 rooms.

We had a confirmed/paid reservation for 6 nights and upon arrival they put us on another riad without our prior knowledge or consent. I WILL never go back to riad Origines because they offer: ->THE WORST customer service EVER – they were overbooked BUT never refund us our MONEY. Placed us in a subpar riad that didn’t even supply soap in the bathroom -> Riad Origines is INSIDE the dirtiest, smelliest, poorest and ugliest alleyways in the old medina -> The Old medina is NOT EXOTIC – instead is filthy and extremely impoverished area -> There is no car/taxi access from riad Origines. You need to walk 15-20 mins to the nearest street -> DON’T book any trips or sightseeing THROUGH Origines – they’ll scam your money. Use Viator or Get your Guide instead -> We booked a walking city tour and ask for an English tour guy – we got a French only speaking kid that point us to the locations of Bahia Palace, Secret Garden and so on but never ACTUALLY took us there -> There is NO entertainment WHATSOEVER in Origines. The rooms have no TV -> THERE ARE no CLEAN/decent restaurants to eat ANYWHERE inside the old medina – you need to get to the new city for that -> The alleyways are dark and a cesspool of scammers. People on motorcycles pull your bag/phone from your hand -> Riad Origines’ accommodations are less than a Motel 8 but more expensive -> Bathroom is smelly – didn’t trust the water because of its medina location -> Cats everywhere where you sit to eat. The roof terrace smells like sewage -> The so called pool – is a 3x3x3 area filled with water -> Whatever mint tea or water they offer you in “hospitality” will appear on your bill -> BEWARE of Alex (owner) condescending, arrogant way to speak to women -> The heat/air conditioner smelled like mold. Bedroom was heavily cheap perfumed to mask the sewage smell in the bathroom -> The only positive was LEAVING – we went to the Sahara for 2 nights and upon arrival to riad Origines we packed our bags and left that FORSAKEN place…

We’ve been there at the end of October for a week, the rooms were lovely and super clean, the owners are extremely kind and available for any question or problem. They helped us with everything. The breakfast was free and it was really good We had a really nice vacation and that’s also because of them!

Riad Origines is a lovely hotel, where everything was cleaned and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. To be honest, it might have been one of my best experiences in a hotel. Everything I needed, the staff was very helpful. They were worried about our welfare, always asking where we were going and if we needed directions going there. Adi was incredible, thank you so much for your hospitality. Everyone that wants a true morrocan experience, please stay in this Riad. From the location to the style of architecture and food, these Riad is exactly what morrocan hospitality is about. Thank you very much, will definitely come back!

The riad was beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our stay. The only defect is the location. It’s located in medina however not in it’s best part. The zone is not the safest, don’t let locals “help” you find a correct way in the narrow streets. We’ve been robbed once and offered “help” many times. Apparently it’s a common trick.

Our stay at Riad Origines was made very pleasant by out two hosts and the additional staff at the riad. The level of service was very high and the staff was extremely helpful both regarding booking of restaurants, transport, massage and day trips. The Riad was at all times kept very clean and nice. The bathrooms are all different and vary in terms of the degree of privacy, but they are all nice decorated 🙂 A very good experience and we can only recommend this place for its good position and the welcoming and helpful staff.

Adil and Saed were just wonderful. My friend and I went for a weekend getaway, and we had the best time. Everything was spotless, food was delicious and the staff were so helpful! We were given directions and explanations, felt like royalty. We booked our excursions through the Riad, as well as our spa treatments. There is literally nothing I could complain about and would highly recommend this lovely place for your trip. Located close to the Souks and taxis, pretty much everything is in walking distance. THank you Adil and Saed for takign such good care of us! :)
