I am writing this review while still staying at the hotel, because I was simply amazed by the service quality.
From check in to cleaning to restauration, all staff are respecting the hotel and gov. sanitary instructions.

At breakfast this morning, all tables were continuously cleaned and disinfected after every use. Staff were wearing masks properly, and providing amazing support to guests.
Special thank you to Mrs.Naima who took very good care of us, always there to help and support.
Big thank you to the director of accommodation for his special attention offering us free drinks delivered to our room.

I came to the Movenpick Marrakech with a friend for a relaxing break and some winter sun along with a chance to get out into the city to enjoy a bit of the local culture.

The location is perfect as it's within a short taxi ride of all the main sights and restaurants but still feels secluded enough from the hustle and bustle of the Medina and busier tourist spots.

The rooms are fantastic and a generous size and there are a number of pools with many sunbeds should you wish to spend a day relaxing in the sun.

The real star of the hotel is it's staff, however. Everyone is polite, courteous and more than willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We would particularly like to thank Leila and Hanane who went over and above on several occasions to make sure we never wanted for anything.

A great stay and we'll definitely be back!

Our company stayed here for our global sales meeting, buying out the property. It is a beautiful resort with multiple buildings for rooms, the spa, yoga, the gym, restaurants, etc. and it’s connected to a convention center, where we had our meetings and event nights. There are also a couple of swimming pools.

The food was pretty good considering they had to feed about 550 people 3 meals a day plus coffee breaks. Mostly it was buffet, so it did get repetitive after a couple of days, but breakfast was always awesome and a few of the dinners were quite good.

My room was quiet, clean and spacious. It had a mini fridge and water bottles were replenished with maid service. Huge bathroom with a large shower (no bathtub), robe, slippers, good towels, etc. Just no wash cloths, for some reason.

On our formal closing night, the executives asked all the staff to come up on stage as a thank you and they got a standing ovation from all of us. It was quite the moment, but showed just how much we appreciated their wonderful service and the lovely property.

Me, my boyfriend and his mother (on holiday in Marrakesh) tried to access this hotel on a day pass to use the pool and restaurant area. When we arrived we were told by reception when we enquired there was NO ROOM and we would not be able to get in the pool because it would be so full.

One member of staff rudely dismissed us and directed us to someone else.

We then just booked the pass online, which we would have done before but we thought it would have been better to book face to face at the hotel and make sure everything was in order with the deal. Once presented with our booking She then eventually admired us entry but said we would not be able to get in the pool.

Once inside, the pool area and loungers were basically empty, expect for a few families and couples sun bathing. We were shown to a day bed area and enjoyed our time their a lot! The food was great, fresh pizza by the pool. Sampled local Casablanca beer and the life guard was very friendly. Such a shame that such a great experience was ruined by prejudice fount of house staff. No large party arrived until 6pm which is when the day pass ends anyway. Either way they did not take up all the space in this massive hotel!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of four, we arrived early for check in at 12pm we were first greeted with Moroccan green tea which was delicious and much needed from the 47c heat outside! We checked in and within 15 minutes we were taken to our room and shown were breakfast the pools and kids clubs were.
We chose to stay in a Prestige Suite and wow we were blown away by the size of the room, the modern clean decor. The suite has a large living, washroom, bedroom with a walk in closet and a huge bathroom with a lovely bath in the middle and separate shower and toilet. The balcony had both a relax sitting area and dinning area. This has to be the best room we have ever stayed in! We really didn't want to leave the room!

As it was my birthday the room was decorated with red roses (my fav) and also a cake was provided, thank you Nezha for arranging this over email. The service she gave on email was excellent.

We enjoyed our time by the pool Anas Mohamed and Othman really looked after as well and they work so hard especially with the heat being more than what they are normally use too.

We can not wait to come back and stay for longer! We were sad to leave and hope to come soon.

I liked the Movenpick Mansour hotel, very much. It is centrally located in the Hivernage district; Other lovely hotels, cafes and easy transport links. The roads are so clean there as well. The route from the airport is so close.
I was surprised at the modern architectural design, as well as an unusual discreet entrance. It is a bird in the cage/ garden and fountain style entrance, with a huge bronze/brown automatic curved door. The floors are so glossy, and scent throughout the lobby is filled with the fragrance of fresh roses! I understand why they have a five star rating!

The check-in was swift, attendance to take the luggage and proceed to the bedroom was also on point. I had a first floor superior room with small terrace, front facing the garden/side pool area; Just as expected, as requested with the booking. No complaints at all regarding this, or with the standard of luxury. The king size bed was comfy; The setting for the air-conditioning was good. Only the Spanish dinner meals at Marcelona was limiting, not Morrocan cuisine.

The Breakfast buffet wos high quality, with amazing range of dishes and variety of drinks.
Staff friendly, and service is fast.
Bahija was serving my table mostly, according to my preferred seated area, and she was friendly, helpful and polite. All the staff generally are constantly moving about ensuring guests are catered for; Pool side bar area and lunch buffet is optional, expensive but also high quality food and service.

The only thing disliked was that there was very little entertainment for guests; Only for people who booked their own private functions. I was expecting some live music playing during dinner, at least in the weekends, but there was none. They have a music hub with microphone, but no player. Perhaps this is planned for busiest time of the year. The hotel was reasonably quiet, but peaceful; Not bustling with guests; services a bit too expensive; going on tours is a must, to get an authentic experience of Marrakech

We stayed at the Movenpick for a week mid February and overall we had a good time. There was an issue regarding our rooms when we first arrived but this was quickly resolved by Hanane who was extremely helpful throughout our stay recommending restaurants and places to visit etc.

The hotel is located in a lovely area, Hivernage which is just a 5 minute drive from the City Centre, Medina etc. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel which are very good, Le 6, Dameh and Dar Rhizlane, we always felt safe walking to and from the restaurants in the early evening.

We ate at the Spanish Restaurant in the hotel on our last evening and I have to say we were very disappointed. We live in Spain for 6 months of the year and it was possibly the worst Spanish food I have ever tasted. My husband ordered the seafood Fideua which was tasteless, I had salmon fillet which way overcooked and again tasteless. After eating out at some very good restaurants in Marrakech we were very disappointed by the Spanish restaurant in the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel on the other hand was very good, lots to choose from and fresh omelettes / eggs made to order. We were looked after extremely well every day by Mostafa and Skiriba (Mohammed), nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they worked very hard to ensure we always had everything we needed.

The rooms in the hotel were very nice and spacious but I have to mention that as nice as our cleaning lady was the standard of cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms wasn't very good at all. It does pain me to say this as our cleaning lady was lovely but it is an area I think definitely needs attention for a 5 star hotel.

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel, the location is perfect for exploring Marrakech and we would stay there again. x

On arrival the reception was totally packed with tired, frustrated visitors and only two staff members were on duty.
We were given absolutely no tourist material or a map of Marrakesh.
I had to ask for one the next day.
We were upgraded to a very nice large room because our bedroom backed onto the neighbouring hotel's disco - we could not hear the TV in our room because the music was so loud.
There were not enough sun loungers at the pool. And somehow they were reserved every morning with hotel towels until the "special" guests arrived.
Otherwise all was ok..........

Dear Ehclan, We are sincerely grateful for the time you spent to share your comments on your recent stay in our hotel, your detailed review will certainly assist in order to keep on improving the quality of our services for our valued guests. We have taken good note of your comments and are truly sorry you did not feel attended enough by our teams at the front desk, the team works daily to provide the best possible service to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for. Also, we regret reading that apparently we failed to ensure that our hotel policy, forbidding the reservation of sun beds, was respected during your visit. Your mentioning of this in your review did not go unnoticed and we are pleased to inform you that with immediate effect we will be enforcing the communication reminding guests that reservation of sunbeds without immediate use is forbidden in our hotel. The Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location at Hivernage.

The whole staff is very professional and friendly from the moment you arrive until you left.
I have been upgraded for which my special thanks.

Very special thanks, to Mrs. Nada Zouhair for her welcome and professionalism each time, who is always very reachable to help us with most extraordinary attention.

The suites are spacious and the housekeeping is focused on cleanliness.

During this Covid period, the hotel take all the necessary measures to protect the guests at the hotel. During the breakfast, each table was equipped with its own disinfection product, something that other 5 star hotels do not immediately do. Well appreciated and thank you for all the efforts in this respect!

"I miss the very good evening restaurant of 2019". If I may give a recommendation, it would be a big plus if the GM Mr Saladin would reconsider that the hotel have again the same restaurant as in 2019. "It had an excellent international kitchen and excellent staff" at that time.

Breakfast could in some way a little bit better regarding the choice (smoked salmon, baguettes, smoothies, gember, fresh red fruits etc...)

I have already stayed at this hotel for about six times and every time, I see an improvement of the excellent services for which my compliments and also special credits to Mr. Saladin - GM who joinned the Movenpick Hotel Mansour Marrakech since February 2021, to bring the hotel to a higher level according to the Accor spirit, to the management and team.

It was a "very good feeling" to see again the very beautiful main entrance open of the hotel!!

I highly recommend this hotel for its quiet and its very well location at Hivernage, for the cleanliness and its remarkable staff.

Thank you and congratulations to the whole team !

From the check-in process, the staff seemed very disorganized, although they were courteous. The whole hotel looked old/aged and needs a general refurbishment from the spa facilities to the room I was staying in. I called room service several times over my 3 nights stay for different requests (refilling of shower gel, request for iron to the room etc.) which either took a very long time to arrive or never arrived.

What I am most unhappy and disappointed about is that fact that the front desk firstly decided to take a MAD 21,000 security deposit from my credit card on arrival without informing me of the amount prior to attempting to debit me. I had assumed they would pass a charge for the room balance for my non-refundable booking, and it was only after entering my pin and when additional authentication was required, that I realized and challenged this. It was only at this point that I was offered the choice of paying for any amenities on demand or keeping a hold on my card.
Following this, on departure and after settling all my bills, I was told that the hold on my credit card had been released but this does not appear to be the case as the hold is still reflecting on my card after over 2weeks. I have called several times requesting to speak to the reservations and reception teams, but people either don't pick up the phone, drop the phone after it rings for some time, tell me they are busy, or that they will investigate without obtaining adequate information from me to look in to the issue and contact me back. One lady asked that I call the following day and ask for Mr. Abdoulate, but I have not able to get in touch with him or anyone else competent enough to help. It feels like no one wants to take responsibility for resolving it.

The only reason why Movenpick is getting 2 stars is because they provided early check-in as requested. And also because the staff at the poolside restaurant were attentive and the food specifically by the poolside was decent. I tried the free breakfast buffet only once, but the quality and spread was really poor, so I decided not to go back and chose to eat early lunches by the poolside which came at an additional cost.
