I stopped here twice as part of an organised tour. I will not stay here again. My room was on the terrace. Very noisy airconditioning. The room was dirty. Sheets had been used. No towels. Dubious shower which flooded the room. Breakfast was covered in wasps. On my return visit I was twice given the keys to another guest's room.... More

We stayed here around 11-12 sept Pro: Location is good. Contra: Rooms are smelly, no windows to the bathroom or at the room itself. The sheets for the bed were not clean and also smelly. Breakfast was also not good at all, for example eggs were a bit old. The next days we suffered from food poisoning. We slept because... More

I arrived at the hotel and was politely greeted by the receptionist who gave me the keys and told me where to go. This is a 3* hotel so don’t expect anything better. The furniture are a bit tired and is in need of an upgrade. The room/bathroom were clean. The A/C works but you have to ask the receptionist... More

Fantastic economical location right in the centre of Marrakech. Lovely sunset/sunrise views of the city from the roof terrace. If you are looking to save money they will let you sleep on the roof for a discount. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in organising transport and ringing ahead for us. The currency exchange was open most hours with... More

Had to stay here for one night as it was close to airport (had to return to England ASAP). Rooms were spacious but grubby. Couldn't muster up the courage to use the shower! Everything needs updating. Didn't bother having breakfast as all the food was covered in flies! Suitable for students in my opinion.

I would definitely come back to stay here ! Because its in the centre of markets, food places, and very cheap to stay. I went for a school trip so we had to organise everything food , accommodation and travel also hotel staff spoke a little bit of English which helped a lot but i would advise to speak a... More

I originally stayed at a riad (guesthouse) in Marrakech but found that it's no good, so I just walked in the Hotel Ali the next day for a room for 4 persons and it's 500DH including breakfast. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the entrance of the Djemaa el-Fna Square. The room is big and clean but the... More

I've had many memorable times at this hotel both solo and with other like minded travellers. The private rooms are perfectly fine and there are quiet internal rooms for those who want to be away from the outside noise. The dorms are a little basic however they are a great place to meet other travellers - and I've met some... More

I went with a group of friends here for a few nights before summiting a mountan. We had excess luggage with us and we were allowed to keep our things there for the time we were gone. The rooms were comfotable and the people were lovely. The location couldnt be any better as there were many resturants around and the... More

The location is the best thing about Ali — the street is wide and with a lot of people ( I would not feel so happy to be in one of the tiny streets from marrakech). The price is also very nice and the breakfast was nice too (bread, croissants, crepes, fresh orange juice and coffee or tea). I don't... More
