We spent a wonderful four day weekend at La Maison Arabe in Marrakesh. We were greeted at the airport by a driver arranged by the hotel and though we were early, our room was ready within the hour. After a welcome drink and checking into our room, we enjoyed a lovely lunch in the restaurant. That afternoon we did a three hour Moroccan cooking class at the hotel and then ate what we cooked for dinner! I highly recommend the cooking school, it is top notch and on par with similar experiences in Tuscany or France. The hotel has a wonderful old world ambience and a luxurious take on the traditional Moroccan Riad. Rooms were beautifully decorated, and immaculate. There are several places to enjoy lingering over mint tea - the courtyard with rose fountains, the rooftop bar, the piano bar and poolside by the main restaurant. The spa looked amazing though we didn’t have a chance to try it. The location of the hotel is unbelievable, just a 7 minute walk to the main square, 10 minutes to the Hivernage district and in the middle of the action of the Medina. Service was superb, everyone from the reception staff to the bellboy, waiters and cleaning staff were extremely warm and welcoming. We will definitely return!

This was the second time my wife and I stayed here. Located on a charming quiet back street in the old medina, this wonderful riad has more than any traveler would ever need. Cooking classes, spa, transportation, tours, swimming pool, great dining, attentive staff and a country club. One wing has an elevator (though a few steps are required to get to it).

This was luxury at the edge of the medina. So wonderful to have a calm, relaxing space after the craziness of exploring the city each day. Delicious food, great bar/lounge, perfect location. Had a fun cooking class at the hotel. Brunch was very good, with many options for my sister who has Celiac. We ran out of time to get to their country club location but that looked lovely too. Staff was very helpful...arranged an excellent guide for us...Kojak...who took us through historical sites and ordinary life (communal bread baker, the last donkey garage, the basement furnace room of a hamam that was still heated by wood chips and used to cook sheep heads and hocks). He also did have some specific shops for us to go to, but good quality and not tons of pressure to buy. A couple other quirks...the swimming pool is in the middle of the restaurant...just seemed a bit awkward to swim in the middle of people eating. I saw one guy go swimming. I think people swim more at the country club location...there is a free shuttle. There is a coffee machine in the room, but each nespresso pod is quite expensive, not free. And if you take the cooking class, have space in your luggage. They gifted each person a tagine, which is not easy to fit in your luggage. Absolutely recommend this riad! My favorite place i stayed in morocco!

Outstanding. Great location. Beautiful rooms. Attentive staff. Highly recommend. We stayed at La Maison Arabe for three nights in Marrakech. The hotel is comprised of several beautiful renovated old buildings. The hotel's location is in the Old Medina and is easy walking distance to the Main Square and the Souks. Plenty of restaurants and shopping options are close by. Our room overlooked the pool and restaurant garden area. The room was comfortable and lovely. All amenities needed were provided. AS IHG members, we were given a complimentary bottle of wine and a Moroccan cookbook. We had several drinks in the Jazz bar, a comfortable relaxing setting with a live pianist. We took a cooking class (highly recommend - maybe our best meal in the entire 12 days of being in Morocco). Our wives enjoyed the hammam and spa. The staff ensured we were well taken care of. Ismael at the front desk seemed almost like a personal concierge. He was very helpful in securing transportation, recommending restaurants, and providing guide advice. Highly recommend. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This is a luxury hotel in the heart of the Marrakech medina. We stayed four nights and enjoyed the amenities of the hotel as much as we enjoyed exploring the old city in Marrakech. Great location with an amazing staff.

Our stay at La Maison Arabe was truly a delight! From the hammam treatment, the buffet breakfasts, to the 3-hour cooking class, we enjoyed the amenities immensely. The cooking class was especially informative, fun, and delicious..highly recommended. The staff was delightful, and we were greeted with friendly smiles at every turn. Our room was unique and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on our gorgeous terrace. Make sure to also visit the rooftop bar up the alley for a beautiful atmosphere and great drinks.

Location is great. Easy walk to the Medina. Rooms are big, clean, unique. Ours had a great private patio. Breakfast and dinners was excellent. But the best of all was the Hammam. Great staff who were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again next time we travel to Marrakech.

I’ve stayed in many places in many countries and by far La Maison Arabe is my favorite! It is a gorgeous Riad with a lot of history, the attention to detail everywhere is impressive. The staff is just wonderful and helpful and they anticipate your every need and want! The restaurant has delicious food, impeccable service in addition to the food. We had a junior suite with balcony, garden view and what a view! Very spacious suite, very clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Management awaited us with a bottle of wine, how thoughtful! The spa is gorgeous, I just wanted to sit there and enjoy my surroundings. I can’t say it enough, absolutely superb service and it made me feel like I was home with wonderful, caring friends. Especially when I was spending a lot of time in the alley with a mommy kitty and her babies. Several staff thanked me for taking care of them, made me love them even more for being so kind. It’s magical and exotic and 5 stars is not enough for this exquisite Riad and the wonderful people who made it into a very memorable visit! Thank you!

Perfection. The service, the food, the room, the staff, the spa, the atmosphere. Perfection. The front desk staff even when shopping for us for grab some things we were unable to due to our tight timeline. When we inquired if it was possible, they agreed without hesitation. We enjoyed every minute. Will definitely stay again.
