From our roof top terrace you have an overview over the old Medina. In our Restaurant we offer daily fresh cooked Moroccan dishes. The Hotel gives you the choice between 23 rooms with different rates. Most of the rooms are equiped with bathroom and A/C. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. All rooms are decorated in traditional Moroccan Riad style.

    Dear Mr. Daniel Jones, thank you for your rating. We are glad to hear that you visited Hotel Sherazade again after 6 years. We are happy that you were satisfied with the staff and breakfast. Concerning the room, you were upgraded from a "standard room" into one of our Suites for the price of a standard room. All our Suites have more comfort and equipment such as an A/C and extra heaters for the bathroom or living room. Normally the rooms gets warm quite fast when the heater and A/C is on. I also spoke to the colleague that answered your emails. Please note that your questions were answered mostly on the same day or latest on the next day except for the email sent on the 31st which i do apologize for. We know that the websites of the bus companies are useless, and for that reason we offer that extra service of getting the tickets for our guests. My colleague called the bus company (CTM) asking how long in advance the tickets can be purchased. They told us that the ticket can ONLY be purchased one day in advance and only "one-way" as it is not possible to buy the return ticket from Essaouira according to their information. We understand that it is not convenient to buy tickets only one day before and without return but we cannot take fault for that. In Morocco things may change daily without anyone being informed. Maybe someone else told you it is possible to buy tickets more than one day in advance but we are referring to the information (CTM) gave us when calling their office.     Lovely stay
    I was in a lovely room with a friend for a very very good price. Clean and quiet. The terrace is beautiful and peaceful. The maids are very kind and helpful. And the atmisphere is relaxed and very restorstive after a very busy day at the souk.

    Peaceful oasis
    Peaceful oasis in the middle of bustling Medina. Beautiful upstairs terrace for relaxation and a cup of mint tea, perfect room, nice staff, good breakfast. It was our favorite hotel in the whole of Morocco. I definitely recommend it.

    "Generally quiet apart from the call to prayer from the mosque next door."
    "Rooms at the top floor have older A/C and are noisier (terrace in front and Mosque sounds). Lower levels are quieter and have modern A/C."
