My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in two different rooms at Riad Dar Nadwa. Each room is uniquely and beautifully adorned in Moroccan decor. The riad smells so good that we asked which oils and incense they were using. Then, we went to the market and bought some. Now that I’m back home, my house smells like the riad. The lovely fragrance leaves me with happy feelings about my trip.

The staff is INCREDIBLE! I can’t remember the woman’s name who works there, but she prepared THE BEST tagine I’ve ever tasted! Also, for only 100 Dirhams, she washed, dried, and folded an entire bag of dirty clothes for us. We had a delicious breakfast each morning, and our room was cleaned daily! All staff members were so friendly!

Lahcen and Faruq (Farooq) gave us good advice on how to handle ourselves at the outdoor markets to get a fair price on items we wanted to buy. They even helped arrange a 5-hour walking tour of Marrakech (Old and New Medina) where we learned a lot of interesting history and went to the markets, Bahia Palace, and Koutoubia Mosque. They also arranged a 3-day Sahara tour in which we traveled through the Atlas Mountains, visited two Berber villages, rode camels, and camped in the desert! It was amazing! When it was time for us to leave, they arranged a taxi to take us to the airport.

Overall, it was a truly unforgettable vacation and I miss being there. We’re already working on a plan to go back and bring our children!

It was not planned but somehow we managed to go to Marrakech...and ended in Dar Nadwa. The decor and detail of furnishings in the rooms give an extra added value to the pacakage. However the most wonderful thing about Dar Nadwa is the hospitality and warmth given to customers. I definitely recommend this marvelous Riad to anyone.

We stayed here after a 2 days driving and a night in the Sahara Desert and it was a wonderful comfy stay.
Lahcen gave us a wonderfully warm Moroccan welcome with sweet biscuits and mint tea and told us about near by restaurants and things to do before showing us to our room.

We booked one of the suites and it did not disappoint! The bed was rally comfy, plenty of seating areas and a lovely view into the courtyard from the door.

The roof terrace was a lovely little bit above the bustle of the Medina, we sat up here on our last night and just enjoyed the night sky and the sounds around us.

Breakfast each morning was different and fresh, a mix of fruit, yogurt and traditional Moroccan breads and pastries, which set us up for a day of exploring and travelling.

Hi there!
We stayed 5 nights in the Jago Lila room at the Riad Dar Nadwa. We really liked the Riad, it has a
beautiful courtyard with lots of plants, a fountain where the water ripples in the evening and in the
morning you are woken by songbirds that stray into the courtyard. Furthermore, the Riad has a
beautiful roof terrace where you can enjoy the sunset with a delicious mint tea.
A lot of attention to detail can be seen in the room Jago Lila, such as the beautiful interior with
oriental flair which is rounded off by the warm room lighting. I also really liked the bathroom; I will
use this shower as a template for a future bathroom renovation in Austria :) The room also has air
conditioning with heating, so you don't have to freeze in the cool January nights. In summary, I have
to say a great and very clean place to stay.
And now the very best, that's the staff! I would like to express special praise to the representative of the host (unfortunately I forgot his name; in any case he is Berber and from the Atlas Mountains).
This nice young man really did a great job to make the guests feel good! To name just a few things:
organized airport transfers, organized day trips, got up early to make breakfast only for us, and much
more. Thank you!
We enjoyed the time in the Riad very much and should we come back to Marrakech, we will stay at
the Riad Dar Nadwa again.

Best wishes
Martin&Nejra

This riad made my wife and I feel like we were living in our own riad. The people who work there welcomed us well and warm. The manager 'mohammed is a fun and funny person, then we met 'yassin he also helpful and tell us about things to do in Marrakech, also their room service 'forgot her name that lady dry our wet clothes on the roof top and she fold it nicely and bring it back to our room. My wife extremely happy with service these person gave to us.

The building is interesting as riad is a marrocon family house. They have nice room with water fountain and open roof top that can make bird fly easily so your nice will be happy to see water fountain, bird and sky while u enjoy your breakfast here, u can take nice picture of this room from first floor. They also have terrace on rooftop with there are lots of seats that you can choose from at various spots to enjoy sunset or sunrise with marrocon mint tea.

Our room was on the ground floor right next to the water fountain. Our room is medium sized with a king bed, one sofa and table, clothes hangers, wardrobe and air conditioning, and a bathroom inside. The WiFi works well, the AC and hairdryer also work, The pillowcases and blankets smell good, The hot water in the shower works, The design of the cactus wall image is in harmony with the ceramic bowls and glasses in the bathroom, The toilets and bathrooms are clean. You guys should try their home made yogurt on breakfast!!!

You can find the location easily on Google maps. When you want to find a taxi, you have to walk about 5 minutes to theBab Taghzout. From Bab Taghzout takes 15 minutes drive to guelis and 20 minutes to Jamal el-fnaa.

Love
Amelia and Abdul

Just had a marvellous time at Dar Nadwa in Marakech where i stayed the last couple of days of my holiday. I recommend dar nadwa as it is kept very clean and well mantained and is in the centre of marakech. I would recommend dar nadwa any time. We were welcomed by Lahcen who gave us some moroccan tea. Breakfasts are also really good so when you are in marakech make sure you'll stay at Dar Nadwa.....the best

Lahcen and Mohamed were both excellent hosts, super friendly and welcoming. The Riad was very calm and relaxing and we had a lovely breakfast every morning in the relaxing ‘courtyard’ part of the Riad. They were very accommodating and tried their best to help make sure our stay was as good as possible.

Riad Dar Nadwa is beautiful beyond words; even better than the pictures. at daytime or nighttime is gorgeous, always pristine and clean, the room was great very pretty, comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep and the shower had plenty of hot water.

The staff give the extra mile every second and pays attention to every detail. The breakfast was healthy and delicious.

Lahcen went the extra step to ensure I was made to feel at home.

I fell in love with the ambience and the good energy in the riad, dream architecture and the perfect place to stay.

It's a must if you visit Marrakech!

What a fantastic place to stay to experience Marrakech for the first time. Larsen and Yassine were immensely helpful and friendly. They were fantastic towards the kids.
The support given to us as two female friends, travelling with our teenage kids was second to none. Larcen recommended an excellent restaurant and even showed us the location in the afternoon so we could walk confidently in the evening.

What can I say... A home away from home. Lahcen and Muhammed looked after us during our 6 night stay in Marrakech. The Riad is in the centre of the action and has lovely rooms and facilities. Breakfast comprised of coffee or tea, breads, fruits, yoghurt and other baked treats. The rooms were spacious and both had working air con ( not needed though) the roof top terrace was spacious. Arranging tours through our hosts was simple and they ensured we were looked after the whole time.
