Very nice place to stay in the old town, a true hidden jewel for those who love authentic not touristic little boutique hotels. Staff is very nice and pleasant, professional, capable to solve all the problems and the ladies really do their best to make you feel at home. The

Dar Les Cignognes is an incredibly gracious Riad that is in the perfect location in Marrakesh. The whole staff was amazingly kind and thoughtful and could not have taken better care of us - myself and my two teenagers. Hayat and Hajiba, along with the rest of the staff, were

Let’s get one thing clear, this hotel is a dream. A small Riad close to the Palace with excellent staff. You really are taken care of. However 3 things let it down. 1) it’s noisy as it’s next to a main road and my room opened out onto an alley way. 2) WiFi is poor. My 4G was

Response from Management_234, Manager at Dar Les Cigognes
Responded 1 Jan 2019
Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are glad that you found it to be a dream, and also highlighted its excellent location. One of our main advantages compared to other properties is that we are easily accessible by car, by taxi, etc. The one-way, one-lane road in front of the hotel allows for access without much traffic. Wifi is unfortunately poor, a source of great frustration, but until Maroc Telecom upgrades the quality and number of lines in the medina, then 4G, which is quite fast, will continue to be faster. Thankfully, most people have 4G now. We are sorry that you found it expensive. We do benchmark our prices against our peers fairly frequently. Taxes in Morocco are very, very high, particularly on consumables.

Anything going on for eid
Do you have a pool?
No. I believe hotels in medinas are not allowed to have in-ground pools. They have a beautiful fountain! And they have a sister property in the palmerai with a stunning pool and garden. They can arrange a lovely afternoon to restore and cool off.

Please tell me how much a day cooking would typically cost for 5 people... Many thanks steve
Hi Steve, for two persons we paid 80 € for each, this included, market shopping(incredible adventure); cooking with Dar's super cook, who is also on Maroccon television, you cook the whole afternnoon and later you have dinner in the hotel and you eat what you cooked. It was pretty cold that day and we had dinner next to the chemnee. Best wishes Angelika
