Detailed Reviews
I’ve visited Morocco many times but this was my first stay in a riad. Being in the heart of the medina, the taxi had to drop us at the nearest point and we had to walk for about 10 minutes with our luggage. The riad was situated about 5 minutes walk to jemaa al fan and about 10 minutes walk from Badhia Palace. The riad staff were all so helpful and courteous from the cleaners to the dining and reception staff - they had plenty of suggestions of places to visit/eat. They served a lovely breakfast on the terrace overlooking koutoubia mosque. It was beautifully decorated in stunning Moroccan style and a very comfortable room. There is a hammam next door. My only complaint was the view from one side of the terrace - an area of wasteland covered in litter.

I came here because my hostel in the Medina didn't meet my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised.
I stayed in two different rooms: The rooms (both single bed) were in great shape and stylish, with a nice private bathroom included. Like many roads, there's no outside view, but there are windows to the open space of the road, which looks quite nice.
The most important past is the host. He has been absolutely great in making me feel at home in the lively chaos of Marrakech. He was happy to help with questions and requests. I even found myself coming back here when staying in different riads when I needed information, or anything really.
For me this was a true hidden gem, the best service I've experienced in Marrakech, at a great location too. Would recommend!

Stayed in Riad Jnane Mogador for 3 nights based on reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed, lived up to clients reviews.
In a prime location only a stone throw away from Jemaa el Fn’aa, it was unbelievable quiet, and as many Riads due to traditional architectural design, open courtyard, can carry noise, this was quite a surprise I didn’t hear other guests, as it was so big, and therefore wasn’t right upon you.
Riad reception always manned, and comfortable room , spotlessly clean, and great air conditioning. Breakfast was on the terrace and very prompt and delivered with a warm smile, good breakfast too, nice choice of eggs, and plentiful.
I was welcomed to the Riad, bags taken to my room, much appreciated as have a bad knee, ( as were they brought down too, young man saw me carrying it said, No! Let me!)
Welcome tea and a huge plate of biscuits on arrival on the terrace!
Highly recommended Riad Jnane Mogador, I have wanted to stay here for some time, and it was as I hoped. Thank you to all the team at Riad Jnane Mogador
Good Hammam too, which I had used

We stay here for three nights as part of our trip to Morocco.
This hotel is about 150 meters off the main medina square , you have to walk to the front door as the taxis can only drop you in the square and the manager of the hotel comes to meet you.
The big wooden studded front door looks a little daunting at first but once inside we loved it. Its so original , mosaics everywhere, water features.its like a film set.
The rooms are a little basic but have everything you need,
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is served on the roof terrace , which included tea, coffee, fruit juice, pastries, various breads and eggs done how you want them. The omelettes were good.
The hotel is in a great position for exploring the old town allyways and a very short walk to the medina square , which is the place to be in the evenings.
There are ATMs around the square as the local traders use cash but you can use your bank cards at the cafes and resturants around the square.
This was our fist time in Morocco we were amazed at how friendly and helpful the Morrocans were and we felt very safe even when we got lost in the medina allyways.

Our home away from home in Marrakech. Such a warm , friendly, perfect, little hotel just steps from the main square - but quiet too. We have stayed here often. Traditional decor - comfortable and always exquisitely clean. The staff go out of their way to make you feel part of the family. Breakfasts are delicious with pancakes and fresh orange juice and yogurt. It represents all we like best about Morocco - the people, the history, the design and the food. We will be back!

A small but lovely riad. Jnane is a very helpful and lovely host providing us with breakfast to go for our trip out to the mountains.
Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with home made pancakes.
All in all I highly recommend thus riad if you are travelling on a budget.

Wife and I loved this place. Block and a half from Jemaa al Fna. Ideal location. Close to the craziness but not too close. Clean, comfortable, affordable, and thoughtful service. Decent breakfast, also. Staff are especially helpful. All are multilingual, including English.
