Marrakech is the Southern pearl, full of charm, mystery and bustle, at the crossroads of the Sahara and the High Atlas. The Club Med Village, set in Morocco's oldest palm grove, reflects the intimate aspect of the medina, fostering its way of life with its gardens, refined cuisine and warm welcome. The Marrakech architecture combines baked bricks, tadelakt, red ochre and colourful zellige, to create a relaxing haven to which you can enjoy returning after a stroll through Djemaa el-Fna square.

my favorite trip of all time, loved it so much. The people were amazing and so friendly. Especially the G.O. Angel (G.O) was the best. She was more like a friend to us. I loved this entire trip and I can’t wait to go back. The pool party’s,the shows, the games, the sports, the food and the people are all going to be in my memories forever. I loved it so much. I hope I can go back soon and I’m sure it will be even funnier.thank you to all of club med

This was our first resort experience with a kids' club and we were converted. We didn't think we were the resort type, because we love to explore & play locals, but everything about our experience has made us want to go back.
We loved the kids' club, whose staff genuinely made our trip. Samy who worked with our son's group was very in-tune with our family. Our son got sick on the trip (and poor Samy was the one with him when he was ill), and he took amazing care of him. He really made our trip, just being the point person for so many of our questions and making us feel at home during our stay. Waleed who also worked in the kids' club, showed a true passion for the kids and you could see how much he enjoyed his work. Our 4 year old would have spent the whole trip with him.
As adults, we really enjoyed the fitness classes with Felix. I'm SUPER picky, and he gave us an awesome workout every day. I was highly impressed with his ability to build a great program and sync it with music, something lots of instructors at the best gyms don't bother even doing.
The food was good and we loved the salad bar option each day for lunch, which allowed us to balance with all the incredible other treats we made sure to explore.
We really enjoyed the whole trip and it was nice to get away without having to plan much. Definitely will be doing Club Med at least once a year, and I cannot recommend the staff there more highly. We felt so safe with our kids in their care and the kids were really happy.

4 year old's quote when leaving: "I will miss this world." (Me too little one, me too!)

This was my first stay at Clubmed. I came with my husband and 2 kids (age 5 and 8). There were many wonderful things about the resort, which I will go on to talk about, but first and foremost what made the experience more than just a holiday, were the clubmed staff. Their friendship, support, happy dispositions and the way you are treated like ‘one of them’ made you feel less like you’re in a hotel and more like you’re staying in a beautiful location with a bunch of friends who all want the best for you. In particular Oumaima Chraiha, Houssine hmidouch, Zero and Coco stood out for me. I have had a fear of heights for a while now, but their combination of pushing me and motivating me, cheering me on etc enabled me to do the flying trapeze most days, hanging upside down and even a catch! I came home feeling like I could do anything after that, and whenever I’m doing something that scares me now I think of Oumaima and her amazing courage and it spurs me on!

Also the staff at the kids club (especially Rhalia, Salah and Toto) who made me feel that my kids were in good hands (which enabled me to actually relax!) and created an environment where they could thrive, even when they are not as confident in French as they are in English. Also the staff at the bar, who were just so kind and even though they were working in some serious heat they were always ready with a smile for you. Also, I’m English but have a good grasp of French and it was lovely to be in a French speaking place where everyone would speak to me in French, without judging my mistakes or switching to English when they heard my accent! I felt very supported and it gave me a great opportunity to practice the language. Finally, Vahap, Bineta, Leila and Miriam were also wonderful and always so supportive and friendly to us and the kids. And it was lovely to see the culture that Aziz created with his team in all the shows; and we loved hearing him sing!

The resort itself was beautiful, with a main pool for everyone and a ‘zen’ pool for adults who want to get away from it all, read in peace etc. Both were lovely. The food was delicious, with a variety of options and amazing desserts. There were TONS of activities which had a huge range (dancing, learning Arabic, tennis, archery, horse and dromadaire rides, yoga and more) and so even in the 46 degree heat we were never short of things to do!

It’s also worth mentioning that before we arrived I was concerned about staying in a resort because I didn’t want to feel disconnected from the country we were visiting. Even though Le Palmeraie is definitely a bubble in Marrakech, there are many opportunities to get out to the city, and the combination of Moroccan staff,Culture and buildings still made us feel very much a part of the country.

I 100% recommend this holidays for any family that wants to discover themselves, and have an amazing experience whilst doing it!

This was our first Club Med experience that didn’t involve a beach or ski slope. But we didn’t feel the lack of those amenities and found it to be a relaxing and rewarding stay. The food was great and we were able to sample a wide array of tagines before heading out to see other parts of Morocco. It was a great introduction to the cuisine. “Oriental Night” (their term) spotlighted Moroccan culture and food and was a highlight of the stay with great music and food. Other activities we tried were horseback riding (pretty reasonable cost by US standards and good quality) and the guided bike rides (these were great). Kids Club was good but more
Francophone than others we visited. Not a big issue in my mind but the kids commented on it.

One nitpick was signing up for activities was confusing and required asking multiple staff to find the right location. That should perhaps be consolidated in a more central location. We also had to use the infirmary which was a very smooth process. Overall, highly recommend.

Arrived on 24 June. Gardens and grounds are nice and that's where it stops.

The hot food is cold to the point of being raw
Got fed up with have Luke warm food decided to have a very thin beef burger. This ended up being completely raw in the centre.
Beef wellington served. Asked for medium. It was that we'll done we couldn't even get our fork in it
See that 98% of the guests are French I am surprised they put up with it.

Room blocks need a total refurb. Ideal time would have been over covid
Our room 457 smelt of drains. The door to the belcony would not close properly. The air con was a waste of time. It didn't matter the setting it just made more noise, temp never altered.

Bathroom were very bad with poor tiling very marked shower trays.

Most of the staff were great. But there is a real lack of communication between them and the management.

Very nice resort for families with kids (older than 2, not for babies). The kids club has plenty to offer and the staff (Amina, Nathan, Maylis) is dedicated to entertain the children all day long.
Quiet rooms at the end of an alley are to be requested to be able to sleep.
September temperatures are perfect, good pools, great food!

The club is great, beautiful surroundings and fantastic food. The staff is very nice too. My main criticism is related to being a parent there. I had to buy some nappies and the club charged me 36 euros for a box of 20 nappies. I was outraged and complained but the vice director of the club did not take my concern seriously. In other clubs nappies were sold at reasonable prices, like 12 euros. I checked online to see the price in local supermarket and it was 6 euros. This is so scandalous! Besides, the main pool was not heated and the one for children was next to some building work with lots of noise. For the price we paid we were expected to be able to enjoy ourselves in a nice and quiet environment with our children able to swim in a peaceful place.
These two things really made me rethink my next holiday with Club med.

We had a good stay in general and the earthquake didn’t impact the club or Marrakech much.
Overall it’s a very nice club. Rooms are a bit basic but ok.
The main pool is beautiful.
Food was very good although breakfast not varied enough.
Activities are varied, thanks to Emilie for her awesome classes and motivation, yoga could be a bit more varied but was ok.
To be improved:
Reception people were far from friendly and this from the check in where we clearly felt we bothered them and had to wait 1h for our luggage in our room whilst we arrived late with a baby. Many cancellations due to the events and still no upgrade possible (if you don’t pay extra) or bigger room available, unsure I understand what is the cost involved to offer that free?
The mini club was a disgrace and would not advise to parents with babies. We had to ask to clean the pool and area as we couldn’t even put our towels anywhere as too dirty. Facilities are very outdated and children’s games limited. I wish I would have known that on beforehand as it was a shame for our 21 months old.
Club Med is a great concept but there is a clear and visible divide between people paying for upgrades and getting the extra service and people on basic (although already pricey rates). This shouldn’t be as visible. Very much hesitating for another booking (this is our second and we had nothing to say about Miches which was unbelievable!).

Absolutely brilliant place!!
It was my third stay at La Palmeraie, but first in Winter, and I had an amazing and relaxing time.
My 8yo son, as usual, loved the Mini Club (BIG THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE TEAM) an(only agreed to have dinner with me once, on Xmas eve, as he was having too much fun with his new friends).
The room was big enough for my sister, myself and my son to not feel crowded and we each had our activities during the day, meeting up in the evening for a drink, the show and some dancing.
Marrakech it self is a beautiful, active and welcoming city with lots of things to do in and around it. Moroccan hospitality is second to none!

Just returned from this beautiful resort in a palm grove on the outskirts of Marrakesh. It’s an older resort than other clubmeds we’ve stayed in but with lots of authenticity and the rooms are spacious, quieter and more solid than their newer versions. It’s a 15/20 minute ride from the airport, 10 mins to the colourful town centre which we really enjoyed. Camel riding from the resort is fun and we did a dune buggy excursion which expensive but fun and a unique experience. We found the food good except for dessert, the offering was consistently terrible. The daily fresh juices were delicious though. Staff were for the large part friendly with one or two rude exceptions. The facilities are good but could be better managed for example a broken table tennis table is just left unfixed and unused, the fitness classes were not at all as good as what we experienced in La Palmyre for example where they were excellent. Towels at the pool were scarce and service not very helpful. The bar staff are moody and ignore kids. The tennis courts are militantly protected. If your shoes, no matter how sporty, are not flat they won’t let u play and staff there seem delighted to close the courts when any rain appears. The tennis team in particular could improve their communication and attitude towards guests. The pitch and putt is fun and the casual management there allows beginner golfers to enjoy alongside more proficient partners. Overall it’s a lovely resort in a fascinating city. I won’t return as have too many other places to explore but would look forward to it if I did.

Not too bad. The Médina and markets will be hot. If you’re staying in a Riad. They are naturally designed to be cooler inside. A resort with a pool is probably more what’s needed by kids. We stayed at the Club Med Resort there. Great for kids. Lots to do. You can get daily passes and shorter breaks. Enjoy
