I went with my daughter in October. She caught a cold in England and was not well for three days so we spent most of the time in the riad. It was like home from home and beautifully furnished and decorated We had a really large room which opened up into the courtyard. The bed was very large and comfortable... More

Our stay in the hotel was excellent. It is well located within the Medina and it is very near to the Jemaa el fna square, one of the main places to visit in Marrakech with its stores, souks, restaurants and cafes. The hotel is very quiet, clean, well decorated and comfortable. But the highest point of the trip was the... More

We ended up at Dar Al Assad by accident. Our usual place (Riad les Hibiscus) was booked and they did us a solid by helping us find an alternative riad. Dar Al Assad has a five star rating for a reason. It is class through and through and they were both gracious and generous enough to let us book their... More

We spent one night at Dar Al Assad and wish we could have stayed longer. This was the best riad we stayed in in all of Morocco! We were met in the square by a porter sent by the riad. This was a very good idea! He carried our luggage in a cart and we were able to follow him... More

The riad is just outstanding. Just foot steps away from the main square and all the hustle and bustle but feels like completely remote.... So quite except my little one and the birds. The staff...ABDUL, FATIMA, RASHID AND ZARA are just the best hosts... Definitely recommend this to all.... Thanks Dar Al Assad for an amazing start to the trip....... More

Najat is so welcoming and the hotel is gorgeous, staff accommodating. It is an oasis from the hustle bustle of the city. New Year's Eve we had a luxurious and sumptuous dinner with two other equally happy travelers. Najat provided for our every need. In fact our first night here we had a small medical emergency. Her friend Omar, arranged... More

We stayed in this riad for three nights. It was very comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom. Our room was well furnished. The breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. The service was a little offhand and could definitely be improved. If I returned to Morocco I would probably try a different riad offering better service.

In the heart of the medina awaits a hidden jewel of a Riad. Wonderful hospitality, tastefully furnished and oh so very quiet. We staid here with another couple and were all very happy. If you have time, make sure to have dinner at least once - try the heavenly tajine - one of the best meals we had in Marrakech

Came in expecting the normal Moroccan Riad, but instead found one with the highest level of finishes and quality equaling those of 4-5 star properties in the USA. Yet this Riad maintained the unique ambiance of the Medina. The huge courtyard sliding skylight was the crown jewel.
