Stayed for 6 nights, staff very friendly, breakfasts nice, but... we were initially given a room on the 6th floor. On the 7th is the roof top bar, where the staff out number the guests, and the dj insists on playing incredibly loud music with a deafening bass, that makes

Really friendly staff.... The problem is the bar and dj on the roof top bar... Floor 7. Why they put us on the 6th floor I have no idea... With our 3 year old. As it turns out he slept through the bass sound but we didn't. After 2 nights of complaining we were moved to the 4th

I can't give a definite answer, but we booked in there was no question about married or unmarried. I think you will be fine.

yes it's about 15min walk to the djema el fnaa market square. there's also a lovely mall called the "menara mall" which is roughly a 12 min walk as well and there are lots of restaurants in front of it. outside the hotel you have taxis which you could take to a street called "Mohammed V" we found that it's a bustling street with all sorts and busy at night. don't pay more than 20 or 30 dhirams as the cab fare though. another popular street is "Mohammed VI" where you can just take a horse and carriage at night from outside the hotel. quite nice at night. we bargained and paid 120 dhirams for that. If you book it as a tour you pay about 220 dhirams. My advice is you have to haggle when paying for most things and always think " would I pay that amount in the UK for that? lol" have a great time out there p.s book a couple of tours at the hotel reception , average price around 350 dhirams but depending on which you choose some could be much higher

Dear traveler, The city center is not that far. Unless you want to enjoy the great shady walk, there are plenty of taxis to drive you place. One piece of advice, ask the reception or the security person at the gate to call for a taxi and avoid the ones parking at the hotel entrance.

Is the swimming pool warm enough for swimming in February?
I've typically stayed in the summer, but when I did stay in the cooler months, I think it would have been too chilly. Hope that helps!

"Ask for a mid-level floor; rooms high-up are noisy due to the roof top bar."
"Get a north facing room that does not overlook the road, and the higher up, the better."
"Get a room high up because there are streets around"
"Avoid an external facing room to avoid road noise."
"Stay off the main road side."
