We could not fault our stay at Riad Safar. Hamid came to collect us from a drop off point - we would have definitely not found the Riad on our own and we were welcomed with tea and coffee in a beautiful setting. The Riad is peaceful and in a great location, room was beautifully

The room we stayed in was extroidinary beautiful. Like, a little cupboard that held our extra bedding was more beautiful than anything I have in my home. The rooftop is higher than surrounding buildings so you can get a decent view of the city. We stayed at a nearby riad later

We stayed 3 nights at Riad Safar with our two children aged 10 and 11. The location is excellent for exploring the Medina, with the closest gate and vehicle access just 5 minutes away at Bab Doukala. From the riad it is a 10 minute easy walk to the square. Our room was

I stayed here with my sister and mother for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Very good location, we walked to all the attractions. Very friendly staff. Our best meal in Marrakesh was at the riad cooked by the lovely Laaziz (I hope I spelt that correctly). Breakfast had some

A delightful riad, just four guest rooms and very attentive staff (Hamid & Laaziza at the time we stayed). Great views from the roof terrace and perfect for sun bathing by the plunge pool, exceptionally peaceful in spite of the riad being situated centrally in the medina (it's

No, it's not easy to find at all. It's about 6 turns down a vacant alleyway. Hmmm. This is a bit tricky because you're arriving later at night. The whole area around the riad shuts down pretty early and turns into a bit of a ghost town. Your driver will be able to get you fairly close, but you'll still need a guide to find the riad. You may be able to ask the hotel to make arrangements for someone to meet you at the taxi's drop off point. We had to hire a random local "street guide" to walk us to the riad for $10. You'll definitely need help finding it.

"The Pasha or Blue Room are the best."
"There is one room on ground level if you find stairs difficult. Bear in mind that there are 2 steep staircases to go up to the roof garden and the plunge pool."
