I expected more. The hotel interior and decoration is nice and very authentic. the room was large enough but very poor stat. Breakfest is served on the roof, in a kind of a large tent. It was cold and uncomfortable with below average food!

We stayed at Moroccan House as part of an Intrepid tour. We had a large room on level 5, overlooking the pool. It was quiet at night, with no noise from the hotel or street. Our two beds (one double, one twin) had firm mattresses, and oddly dense, lumpy pillows.

The air conditioning worked well, but the fridge couldn’t be plugged in as the power point was hanging from the wall by its wires. There was only one other power point in the room to plug in and charge our devices.

The bathroom needs an update, with tiles and panels broken, but there was good water pressure & temperature in the shower.

The pool was cool and refreshing after a hot day. The breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace was adequate with cereal, pastries, Moroccan flatbread, jams, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, eggs cooked to order.

Our room was on the front facing the road with a very small balcony. There was a fixed bed which prevented the secondary door to the balcony from closing..The road was generally quiet except at 2am when it was packed and noisy, presumably when clubs/bars kicked out (we were there on a Friday and Saturday night). The bathroom was dated. There was a fridge and safe, the latter you had to pay extra for.

Classically decorated interior. Swimming pool was clean. WiFi ok. breakfast was a little below average with no eggs or fresh orange juice.

Booked this hotel as part of my deal with booking.com. I had arranged shuttle transport prior to landing, I was picked up from the airport and travelled through Marrakech to it, it isn't that near to the airport or the main areas like the market, however it makes up with that in many other ways. Arriving and the outside is fantastically beautiful, inside blows your mind and its sheer beauty. The gentlemen who worked behind the reception desk, was fantastically friendly and so welcoming. I was taken to my hotel room which was beautifully fresh and bright, the bed was exceptionally comfy, (travelling alone I had the choice of the single or the double, so comfy I overslept every day and missed the breakfast). The room has a lovely bathroom with bath and overhead shower. In the centre of the hotel lobby are two lifts which take you to all the floors, which is fantastic as i've stayed in some hotels in major western cities that dont. The only thing I would mention would be the noise from outside that does go on late into the morning, which is the cars tooting their horns, but its actually quite funny and you do tune it out. The pool is located on the ground floor and looks lovely, however I didn't use it due to the fact that travelling in January the weather wasn't quite that hot, although on the last day after lots of walking I quite happily would have plunged into it. The reason this hotel is fantastic is where it is positioned, away from Medina but a short walk to a large shopping mall, which has designer brands, dominos, burger king etc, there is also a food and household shop on the ground floor. Along the main road you can pick up some nice items from street stalls. Located near to the hotel is a starbucks, the coffee in Marrakech is amazing but I like a pint size of coffee and you step out from the hotel and its a five min walk. I highly recommend this hotel because its a thirty minute walk to the Medina market, oriignally I was put off, but its a fantastic way to see the area, then after a day of exploring you are back to your gorgeous hotel.

All the rooms have their own charm and differences. Spacious with all amenities. The gentlemen working concierge were all very courteous and friendly. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Moroccan weddings finish very late so returning at early hours was not a problem, always someone downstairs to greet you. The breakfast was enjoyable and the common area was a personal and welcoming environment.

Exquisitely decorated, feels authentically Moroccan. 5 or 6 floors with about 8 rooms per floor arranged around this amazing central open space. Very helpful staff and reassuringly old school with info and tickets written on pieces of paper. Breakfast buffet served on the rooftop which is magical - all the usual fare honey, savoury pastries and pancakes. My boys really liked the chocolate cake (actually so did I!). The pool was refreshing if a little chilly in February - good for a quick dip! Close to many restaurants and about a half hour walk into the main tourist centre.

I guess if you tour Morocco you must go to Marrakech. Sadly it’s tourist central. You are continually harassed by sellers, moneys on chains, snake charmers & a man dressed as the ‘Water Man’ only he’s not the real deal. The souks have been ‘sanitised’ for tourists. We toured 1300 miles in Marocco and it was amazing, the scenery it incredible. If you want an authentic souk go to Fez. A long weekend end Marrakesh - forget it!

This looked magical. However, that is where it stopped. The rooms were tired and were dangerous and were very unsafe. Poor lighting added to the problem. No in room facilities and breakfast offered was of a poor standard. I would not ever stay again and swapped hotels the next day

I loved this hotel! The architecture, furniture and overall vibe was all beautiful classic islamic art. It was conveniently located. I didn't get to enjoy the food in the restaurant because it was all booked but it looked delicious. The room was comfortable. I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is about four kilometers from the Airport; about 25 minutes away. The hotel does not operate a taxi or transfer service itself. Suggest you look on Tripadviser under Marrakech Airport Transfer for a suitable operator

Hi my transport was included in my holiday deal but it's only half an hour journey from airport to hotel and taxis are very cheap. Into media is about £4. To the airport I'd say around £20. You have to haggle for everything even taxis so have a figure in mind and offer lower! The hotel reception are very helpful, they will arrange taxi for you. Hope this helps.
