We stayed in Darhani for 4 days. We enjoyed the location of the riad; it was a 10 min walking distance to lots of points of interests. The Manager Omar was very attentive and helped us settle in, the first day, giving us tips and tricks of the area. Through out our stay, staff were really helpful and nice. Every morning - we chose a different place to have breakfast and on request twice they gave us an early breakfast as we had an excursions booked. The room we stayed in was very comfy and very spacious , it had aircon– for reference it was the Mistress room . Cons - a little difficult to find so I would recommend you get the direct transfer from the airport to the hotel when you arrive as there are no signs for the riad and your GPS will not locate it. Once you have seen it for the first time, you should be able to navigate yourselves around the Medina.…
This was our 4th stay in this beautiful accommodation in the hearty of the Medina, Omar the Riad manager is extremely helpful and runs a friendly and well managed operation. The Riad is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and the interior design is classic and understated with many beautiful local crafts represented. The breakfast is generous (and we loved the option of breakfasting on the lovely roof terrace of the Riad). The Riad is well located for exploring Marrakech, the souks of the Medina, and the wonderful restaurants. Omar can organise local transfers too.
It's my favorite place in Marrakech, Omar and his crew are perfect, so adorable and they can give you many advises if you need good adresses in Marrakech. You can go without any hesitation. This is a perfect place to spend time with your family or your friends.
Omar was the perfect host during our stay in Marrakech. Omar and his staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful before, during, and after our stay. Omar contacted me beforehand to arrange airport transfer (recommend you do this), and helped with other logistics of our travel elsewhere in Morocco, including looking after our additional luggage as we headed into the desert. The riad is tucked away in the maze of the medina, near the centre and therefore close to (lots of) shopping and restaurants. The riad is amazingly tranquil given the hustle and bustle outside, with nicely presented comfortable and clean rooms. The little pool and roof garden offer opportunities to relax, but the real reason to stay is out the front door. When first arriving, recommend taking Omar up on his offer to arrange an airport transfer. The riad was easy to find once we’d arrived, but wouldn’t have wanted to be dependent on a map the first time.…
OK, bad news up front: good luck finding this place on your own. It is down a mysterious alley, just go right, left, right, left (through the dark), right, left, then left. I've submitted a revision to Google Maps to put it in the right place, though it's shown correctly (absent the alleys) in TripAdvisor's map. Do call ahead and the riad will arrange a porter for you to carry your luggage and direct you to the place. Good news? Lots of things. Very well located, once you know where it is. Classic riad experience, with only a few rooms in the place, wonderful hospitality, nice rooftop terrace, good breakfast, and helpful hosts, including Omar, who will arrange tours for you if you'd like. Quiet and low-key. Many little nooks to sit and relax outside your room.
