Latifa and Abdul make this Riad stand apart from others with how they take care of guests. I stayed here for 4 nights and they are reasonably priced and breakfast is amazing. Abdul made hot drinking water for me available at 6:30 am when i requested. Rooms are comfortable. It’s an old riad and some of fixtures reflect that but it’s very clean and all functional. It’s very beautiful with old charm. Location is 3 mins walking to main Jemma El Fnaa and very central but quiet. Do note: taxi don’t come here so if you have big luggage you will need to lug it or hire a porter for 5$. If you plan to stay in authentic Riad in central location this is perfect.

Beautiful Riad! The food was delicious and the accommodations quaint. My friends and I loved this place. The cook made traditional Moroccan food with so much flavor. The open lobby gives you a chance to see the stars at night.

This was just an absolute gem of a spot. There are so many Riad’s in Marrakech but this one caught our eye because of all the reviews that focused on how lovely the staff was and how attentive Latifah was to the guests! We were here over Christmas and wanted a place that felt a little special. This hit every mark. When we arrived we had asked to have a dinner cooked ahead and Abdul got us all set up with it. The food was absolutely delicious, which definitely is the same for breakfast. Abdul is also so wonderful and meeting him was a highlight for us! As a cherry on top, our mother had wanted to surprise my sister and I and treat us to a hammam and a dinner while on our trip. She contacted Latifah, who had a little “gift certificate” printed off and had Abdul give it to us with our dinner when we arrived in Marrakech. She even helped my mom with recommendations on where to do to eat and have a luxury hammam. This Riad is an absolute gem and I can’t recommend it more!

Spent 2 nights and 3 days in this Riad in Marrakech. As soon as you walk through the doors and enter the lobby of the Riad, it feels like paradise. The host is extremely helpful, as is Latifa, the main person on site. The rooms are incredibly well kept and staff are amazing, helping out with all things from tourist attractions to the food. Breakfast in the mornings were delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Moroccan experience.

We spent our last night in Morocco in this Riad, we had booked a triple room but as had some pain in her knee they put her in a ground room and they offer me another room that it was not occupied for free. All the personnel was great helping us with everything we need and making us feel like home. Great location close to the main square but quiet at the same time, a place to come back!

Quaint, quiet and quality 😊 we had a wonderful 4 night stay. Our host was warm, caring and extremely helpful, going over and above for us every time. The room was comfortable and beautiful! Breakfast was fresh, delicious and served with care. No complaints at all 😊 . Close to the Medina without any noise. You'll not be disappointed here.

Riad de l'Orientale is an enchanting 250-year-old courtyard house in the heart of the Medina. Our charming second-floor room was clean and very comfortable. It overlooked the pretty, open courtyard below and had many lovely features, including hand-painted shutters and Berber rugs. The manager Latifa could not have been kinder or more hospitable--and she is a fabulous cook! Breakfast was served in the courtyard, and included homemade yogurt, fresh-squeezed OJ, coffee cake, bread fresh from the oven, and Moroccan pancakes. Dinner was just as delicious, with several courses, including almond tarts for dessert. I loved the tarts so much, Latifa gave me several to take home to my family! This special place is truly unforgettable. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Latifa runs a riad as beautiful as she is! From the fountain in the center to the sitting rooms around it to the lovely rooftop deck, it is exquisite. Each room is beautifully decorated and has a carved wooden door leading to the bathroom, and all are a little bit different. Mine had a pink clawfoot tub! Latifa's cooking is wonderful as well; the best breakfasts we had in Morocco - homemade breads, yoghurt and omlettes, and dinners far better than the average tagine. Just a few minutes walk to the city center and lots of shopping. I highly recommend this lovely place!

Riad de l'Orientale along with the manager Latifa is an absolute jem. We (all twelve of us) were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived till our last goodbye. The riad which is a short walk from the bustle of the Jamaa El-Fna Square is quiet and beautifully decorated with guest rooms that were charming and immaculate. Breakfast was excellent with still warm from the oven bread, homemade yogurt, and jams. Dinner as well was a treat. The aubergine dip left us asking for her recipe and the almond tart for dessert was perfection.

This was the best riada during our 10-day trip through Morocco. I was happy to stay there for 2 nights. It was surpise, going through busy and noisy medina, suddenly you are in the quiet and beautiful place. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable in the colors and style of Morocco. Latifa, the host of riada, gave as warmful welcome by heart. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place and definitely I will return! Thanks, Latifa, this was a nice stay and it was a plesure to meet you.
