Ideal and very central location, great price, pool, breakfast, and the assistance was 5*. Asad recommended restaurants and managed the bookings for us, even after we had checked out, as well as organising our airport transfer, someone meeting us in the square, and showing us the immediate streets so we were aware of how to find it. The Riad, our room and especially our Chefchaouen style bathroom was very unique. Just what we were after!

We were greeted by the owner Asad who immediately went out of his way to provide us with a warm welcome and explained everything about the beautiful Riad. It’s a real calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of the medina’s souks - the location is incredible - one of the most interesting parts of the medina, tucked away in a very peaceful and atmospheric part, but only a short walk from the square down various souks. Asad gave us plenty of tips on how not to get lost. The area feels very safe and all the locals were very friendly. The Riad itself is stunning, lots of original features, and our room was very cosy. We slept well each night, and awoke to a lovely breakfast on the really nice roof terrace. Abdul took great care of us, and taught us a lot about Morocco - he really is a fountain of knowledge and a very nice person. He even went out of his way to help us buy some pottery, and each day shared his tea with us. We really felt at home and we hope to return soon. If you are looking for a cosy, authentic Riad experience in a fantastic location with wonderful people, I highly recommend staying here!

I would HIGHLY recommend a stay at Ryad AL Mamoune. The location is fantastic, situated in the heart of the busy medina yet the 16th century ryad was an oasis of peace and tranquility. We stayed in the nejma suite which was very comfortable and felt like a private flat with everything one needed. All the main attractions are within walking distance which makes it ideal to explore vibrant Marrakesh. The owner Asad was so welcoming and very helpful giving us some insights into life in Marrakesk and very useful tips about making our stay a great experience. Nothing was too troublesome and if advice was required or trips needed booking, this was done very efficiently and also in the knowledge that we were in good hands. Abdul was also a gem, looked after us so well and again, nothing was too troublesome if any advice, help...was needed. All the staff are so friendly and everything from the breakfast, cleansiness...of the place was 10/10. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and for the laughts we had. I woud not hesitate to stay at the ryad again and as mentioned would recommend it to anyone wishing to experience a traditional Morrocan home with super friendly and helpful staff.

Words cannot describe how I love my stay on this place. From the day I arrived to the day I left, Asad and Abdul made me feel like I am part of their family rather than a guest. And that made my trip more memorable more than anything else. Location was great. You are basically in the middle of the of Medina yet still have the quietness and privacy that is needed after a full day of market and tours was very welcoming. Do not skip the breakfast. They provide the exact amount to give you enough energy for your day trips. I hope to go back to Marrakech and will definitely stay here again!!

Well we finally made it to Riad Al Mamoune after having g to cancel our original trip during the pandemic and I’m so glad we kept the details of this wonderful Riad. The location is close enough that the souks are on your doorstep but not so close that you can enjoy the serenity of the courtyard or roof terrace. Asad who owns and runs the 16th century Riad is one of the nicest hosts you’re ever likely to meet and with Abdul and another two ladies everything you need or want is catered for, they all go the extra mile to make sure your stay is truly memorable. Asad makes you feel so welcome and treats you like he would his own family, if you need anything Asad will get it or sort it out for you, nothing is too much trouble. Marrakech itself was everything and more we could have wanted, at no point did we ever feel in danger it is a city where you can go pretty much anywhere and feel very safe. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and had a great sense of humour. Needless to say I would whole heartedly recommend Marrakech for a very different weekend city break made truly memorable by the uniqueness of staying in Asad’s amazing Riad.

My husband and I just returned from our trip in Marrakech, and out of the seven different accomodations we had stayed in Morocco - I can confidently say that Riad Al Mamoune was the riad we were MOST happy with! In my world-traveling experience, I rate hotels based on location, cleanliness, aesthetics, and friendliness of staff and Riad Al Mamoune rated the highest in all of these categories and truly surpassed all of my expectations of a traditional Moroccan style home converted hotel. Location: Riad Al Mamoune is just a few minutes walking distance from all of the famous tourist attractions in the Medina of Marrakech. The location is very central and you can visit the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, secret garden, the spice market, all the souks, the hammam, restaurants, and cafes in just a few minutes of walking. The riad staff will also happily arrange a taxi from and to the airport and are always available to help. Despite being close to all of the tourist attractions, the moment you enter Riad Al Mamoune all of the outside noises disappear and you will have the tranquility of your own home where you get to relax, cool down, and enjoy a cup of fresh mint tea. Cleanliness: I have dust and pollen allergies so cleanliness of an accommodation is really important. I did not even sneeze once when I was staying here so I know that the cleaning staff here must do their job very well. Every surface I touched in this riad was spotless. The common areas like the courtyard, and the tea/breakfast rooms were also very clean and smelled pleasant. It was the cleanest riad we had stayed at in Marrakech and I cannot compliment them enough for this! Aesthetics: From the entrance of the riad (Moroccan style wooden door from its original architecture) to the sunny rooftop terrace decorated with plants, the riad has the authentic beauty of a traditional Moroccan home with modern comfort and luxury. Upon entering the riad, you will see a beautifully decorated open-air courtyard full of live plants with a traditional plunge pool. The furniture, the tiles, the handcrafted artisan decor and the overall aesthetics of Riad Al Mamoune are very stylish and you could tell that the staff put great care and love in this place. The spacious room we stayed in was a traditional bedouin style room with a fireplace, a smart TV, a fast wi-fi, a comfortable couch, AC, and a large bed spacious for two. It was the perfect mix of traditional beauty meets modern comfort. The bathroom was really clean and the shower/hot water was top-notch as well. We loved the traditional Moroccan furniture and lamps in our room and we slept very comfortably. Friendliness: Asad and Abdul (employees of Riad Al Mamoune) were attentive from the start and were super accommodating the entirety of our stay. They have amazing personalities and are super easy to talk to. They will have a friendly answer to any question you may have about the Marrakech and the country of Morocco so as first-time visitors we greatly benefited from their familiarity with Marrakech. We found their knowledge really valuable in navigating through a new city and learning about Morocco’s rich history and culture. They know Marrakech and Morocco like the back of their hand and will give you great recommendations on things to do, where to shop, and what to eat. The friendly staff also served us delicious traditional Moroccan breakfasts with fresh ingredients and freshly brewed Moroccan mint teas and coffees. Asad and Abdul will treat you like part of their family during your stay and we will forever cherish the conversations we had with them over their fresh mint teas. We were able to enjoy Marrakech to the fullest with Asad and Abdul’s help. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and friendship. Needless to say, my husband and I will DEFINITELY choose Riad Al Mamoune again without hesitation when we come back to Marrakech in the near future. I would really give this riad and the people who work there a million, trillion stars if I could!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Riad Al Mamoune. It’s a beautiful, relaxing, oasis in the centre of the medina. Coming through the door into the peace and lushness of the Riad after the heat and excitement of the Souks was truly a salve for the soul. The rooms are gorgeous, and each one has its own theme - we stayed in the Bedouin room, which was really lovely. What really made our stay so special though were the hosts. Asad and Abdul were so welcoming and friendly, served us delicious tea on our arrival, were always happy to chat with us (and teach us so much about Morocco and it’s cultures and history - thanks Abdul), and they were always so helpful (organising taxis, helping us buy things we’d seen in the markets, sorting out our trip to a hammam, providing all the information we needed and providing many hot tips to enjoy our time in Marrakesh). They really made our time in Marrakesh extra special, and we will miss them! Staying there and getting to meet everyone who worked there actually ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip! We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Marrakesh.

The owner Asad & his staff Abdul & Yasin went over & beyond to give me & my husband an amazing experience staying at this beautiful riad. Location is very near the Jma El Fna square, the spice market, Marrakesh Museum & Madrasa Ben Youssef. Our room was comfortable & clean. Food they prepared for us was excellent esp the Beef Tangine. Asad gave us a lot of tips to navigate the souks & other places. We enjoyed Abdul’s stories. They are easy to contact & they respond to communication right away. Highly recommended!

We loved this place! So friendly and welcoming and great location close to the souks and main square. Very unique and genuine, in keeping with the 16th century heritage. Safe and quiet, looked after very well by Asad, Abdul and Bushra who will help with everything you need. Highly recommended cookery class, very tasty food and recipes to do at home. Nice rooftop sun terrace where you can have breakfast or just chill. Thanks very much - we can't wait to return!

Totally Totally recommend. From the first meeting with Abdul when the taxi dropped us off I felt extremely welcome. The whole trip was fantastic and the staff were superb. If there is anything you really need from the Medina just tell Abdul and he will get it for a Moroccan price, or simply have a go at bargaining yourself. My first trip to an Arab/Muslim country and it was really special, felt very safe and looked after. They are wonderful caring people. The Riad was excellent with people who really cared about you having an enjoyable time. The Riad is in the actual medina and gives you a real idea of what life is like there. Tip: download maps.me to help navigating the medina. Definitely looking forward to going back.
