Villa Flore is a charming boutique hotel, with a very good restaurant. We have five rooms with marble bathroom, flat screen TV, DVD player and wifi. Three of them have got a private terrace. Each room and each lounge are a showcase for antiques from all the corner of the world. Villa Flore is very closed the place Jemaa el Fena in the district of Mouassine. Very quiet place in the heart of the souks.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We ate here after being recommended it by our Riad nearby. The food was good (but not memorable) but the service was so indifferent it was barely there. If it had been good I'd have felt the meal was more of an occasion. As my friend said "It's a bit up itself" - summed it up well. If you do decide to eat there the Crevette samosas are good as is the vegetable cous cous, but the chocolate mousse was too sweet.

We spent four nights elsewhere and were pointed in the direction of the Villa Flore for supper by our riad’s owner. She was spot on as it had the best food in the centre of the Medina bar none and a pleasant change from Tajeen/couscous which can get a bit monotonous. The red wine from the local hills (vin de maison) was a surprise and infinitely better than the ubiquitous 'president'. The reviewer who disliked the 'bouillabaisse' missed the point- you should be decidedly careful eating fish this far from the sea in Africa and I had the fish soup which was very good but the bouillabaisse was the same soup with fish in! That aside the service was faultless by local standards and the lunch a terrace is an absolute must if it is warm but not too hot and the plat delicious. Eat

Me, my wife and our two teenage sons spent three days here and it was classy, stylish and immaculate. It's a gem, right in the centre of Marakesh, tucked well inside the ancient city walls and a perfect base from which to advance and withraw from adventures in the central square and the sea of markets. The French owners are delightful, he is the architect that built the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is first class and we would have no hesitation in recommending both the food and the accommodation.

My guide book recommended Villa Flore. It turned out to be only a few steps from my Riad in the Mouassine area of the Medina and it was the promise of bouilliabaisse from a reputable French restaurant that drew me in for a midweek lunch. However, I was somewhat disapponted. In these chic surroundings, I expected an elegant version of this classic Provencial fish stew rather than the rustic platter you'd get in the Coeur Salaya in Nice. What I got was a tapas-sized portion of white fish with julienne carrots and courgettes in a saffron sauce. It was delicious and there was clearly a lot of technical skill in the gloriously golden sauce - but it could hardly be described a bouilliabaisse. Where was the variety of fish? Where was the shellfish? At the very least, a few

For some reason Villa Flore is not listed on Tripadvisor under restaurants (hopefully this can be corrected??). We were in Marrakech for 4 nights, but due to volcanic ash had 3 extra - Villa Flore was top of our list for another visit. It was just as good second time round. Lovely central courtyard, and elegant surrounding rooms - with 2 visits we had an opportunity to try a good selection off the menu and nothing dissappointed - Lamb main course was a highlight. Prices were very good, compared to some more expensive. We have a little domestic dispute in comparing Villa Flore to Riad Kniza (where we went the following night). We both agree that both are wonderful, but my wife preferred Villa Flore, even though it is almost half the price. In my view, Riad Kniza just won

I discovered Villa Flore on my last day in Marrakech and most certainly will stay there next time! Can't wait to go back! Three days in Marrakech isn't enough! Tripadvisor is my best source for travel but in this case I selected an okay Riad near the top of the list/ but not as terrific as Villa Flore which was 125 on the list. Many Riads with the center courtyard have dark rooms with minimal reading lights.I asked to see a room at Villa Flore which was lovely, complete with a comfortable large bed, fantastic bathroom, and quiet location away from the main walkway. We had dinner at this beautiful small hotel with a bright center courtyard. The ambiance and quality of food was as good as it gets. The staff served the most delicious dinner and the the chocolate mousse was

Read about this restaurant in Lonely Planet, found it was only a couple of steps away from our Riad. From the booking, through to the pleasure of eating, everything was great - -What a brilliant building, setting and fabulous food.

With its great location, style and exceeding hospitality, this is my pick of Marrakech s Riads. Even though it s situated in the crowdy, old town of Medina, it does provide you with peace and quiet. We stayed in the Tangerine room, a very tastefully decorated room with a spacious interior for a surprisingly inexpensive price! The owner doesnt just run a businness. She really loves what she s doing. Its obvious that all the furniture and fillings(of both room and restaurant) have been selected with loving care. And its true that the guests receive the same conscientious attention. What can I say, we felt like home! Almost every evening we had dinner at the Riad s restaurant in a pampering and romantic ambience. The food was excellent (and reasonably priced). An eclectic menu,

We stumbled across Villa Flore while searching for the infamous design gallery Ministero del Gusto in the Mouassine area of Marrakech's medina. It so happened that Villa Flore is steps away from this shop, and the door was slightly ajar as the steps were being cleaned in front of the property. We peaked in and were awstruck ... the place is a modern design palace, all cool travertine around a beautiful central courtyard. Lovely tables and chairs filled out the space, and Aziz was more than happy to show us one of the contemporary rooms - minimalist, with flat screen tv, lovely terrace, 5 star bathroom, etc.. We returned for dinner the next evening, and were delighted to find a tranquil, sophisticated setting. It was like having dinner in a fine modern restaurant in London,
