Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A truly remarkable experience, Abdul and all the staff took very good care of me and my wife, from the private dinner on our 1st day to the breakfast on the roof admiring the sunrise and listing the birds and playing with their house cat, for all their kindness and service always with the smile. The Riad is in a very good location within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Do a favour to yourself and stay here. Thank you, Abdul and the team!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Hayati. The location is fantastic - a short walk from many places of interest. It's a calm and tranquil sanctuary, very traditional and peaceful with a wonderful sunny roof terrace. Abdul looked after our every need and was extremely attentive - he really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We had a beautiful 4-course meal the evening we arrived which was delicious and very good value - they even made me a birthday cake as they knew I was celebrating my birthday. So kind! We enjoyed decent breakfasts on the roof terrace both mornings and loved the enormous old bath in our bedroom. If you want a traditional experience staying in a Riad I would definitely recommend staying here both comfort and value.

The hosts Abdul and his sister Mila were exceptional, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Riad is in a great location, easy access to the Medina and was beautifully clean, cool, and comfortable. I already want to come back to visit!

The stay at this hotel was even better than expected. Not only is the building itself a hidden gem, but Abdel, the manager, was faultless in his duties. An unexpected treat was that he and his sister (who also works there) did our washing for us, while also putting on complementary water and fruit. The breakfasts were lovely and plentiful and - in the couple of nights we dined in there - the dinners were amazing. The tagine is to die for. We're absolutely intending to stay again when we return. If you want a really chilled out stay in Marrakech, with cheery, friendly hosts, then choose the Riad Hayati.

We stayed at Riad Hayati for 8 nights after reading the reviews, and seeing the location within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see. The Riad only has 4 sleeping rooms (I believe), and fit our idea of what we were looking for – a quiet place to stay during the heat of the day or after a long day of running around Marrakech. It was perfect! We had four of us taking up two of the four rooms; and we were by ourselves for about half the time. The rooms were beautiful and had Air Conditioning (when needed), and there were a number of sitting areas/rooms to either sit and read, have some nice Moroccan tea, or to have breakfast. Sitting on the roof in the early morning or late in the evening was wonderful. Mostly, Abdul and Mina made the stay perfect. Abdul helped us

Our first visit to Marrakech, and I don't think we could have made a better choice for accommodation. Abdou booked a taxi to collect us from the airport and then met us in person to carry our bags and guide us through the maze of alleys to the Riad, which is perfectly located in the centre of the Old Town and well within walking distance of the main square, the souks and the restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble, Abdou brought an enormous breakfast to our room every morning and organised a trip into the mountains for us. His sister even laundered our clothes! Our room was huge, spotless and peaceful, with the biggest and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The courtyards were cool and quiet - the perfect oasis and a welcome respite from the bustle and din of the

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough good things about Riad Hayati! The Riad manager, Abdel, and his sister were incredibly sweet and helpful, and went so far above and beyond for my friend and I, we could hardly believe it. The accommodations were beautiful and cozy, the free breakfast was AMAZING, and the location literally could not be better for walking to the major sites, squares, and restaurants. Despite its proximity to everything, the Riad itself is astoundingly quiet and peaceful - even the rooftop garden and central courtyard were super tranquil. It may also be worth noting that we were two females traveling in Morocco and we felt so safe and comfortable in this Riad and the surrounding area. The only thing that surprised us was that there was no door/separation between

What a treat. I think of it as a little jewel set in a courtyard complete with bird song and rose petals floating in the fountain. It is a beautiful Riad on a quiet lane filled with antiques and comfortable furniture. Fireplaces, candlelight and delicious meals prepared by Mina. It is an intimate place-so very cosy. You feel that you are entering a home that becomes yours for the time you stay. What was extra special was it's location- A short walk to the Bahia Palace, Mellah, Jemaa el Fna and everything you want to see. Everything is close and the shops a delight of temptations. I can't wait to return-indeed if you are a single traveller I can't think of a better place to be. Abdal-Hal makes everything work and it is seamless. You never have to worry...I look forward to

Highly recommend staying at Riad Hayati. This was our first ( and not last) visit to Riad Hayati. From the gorgeous terraces and suites to the rose petals, Berber chests, stunning wall mirrors, antiques, Moroccan furnishings, cozy fireplaces, quiet spaces to curl up and read or dream, you won’t want to leave. The kind and thoughtful staff, Abdel-Hal (Riad Manager ) and cook Mina attended to our every need. Abdel coordinated with our driver(Niro) every day who took us everywhere ( even to and from Tamadot). Abdel made lunch, dinner, hamman, massage reservations for us every day. Mina’s breakfasts were fabulous( eg pancakes with apricot and honey) and the Chicken and Fish Tangines that we ourselves requested for dinner were delicious. The ambiance that they create with candle

Returned to Hayati recently and happy to report it remains a home from home with understated charm and amazing service from brother and sister team Mina and Abdel-Hak. Mina is an amazing cook, both Morrocan and international and they work well together. Its a relatively small riad, more home than hotel, but very cosy, very tastefully decorated and in an upmarket part of the medina that is close to the Mellah and Palais Bahia. Cannot recommend this charming riad enough if you are looking for a quiet stay in the heart of old Marrakech
