Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Myself, husband Joe and two friends from Ireland stayed in La Riad Monceau last year and loved it so much we wanted to come back to it. The staff couldn't be friendlier. Service outstanding. We ate in both the bistro and rooftop Pergola. Loved them both. Hosni at main reception made sure we were well looked after. The staff are the gems in this hotel. ✨️ We'll be back....

Super friendly and efficient staff at this Riad. It was our 2nd stay and will definitely be back. Breakfast was great freshly served by Soukaina every morning and dinner in the pergola and Bistro Arabe was fab. Best Bar in Marrakech with live music every night. Shout out to Rosni who remembered us from our previous visit and treated us like VIP’s

A beautiful Riad in the middle of the Medina. Restaurant in the inner court yard and the roof top. A place where I have kept going back to for drinks every time I was in Marrakech. I would how ever not stay there, as they have got live music through out the Riad every night till late

From the moment we arrived the staff at the Riad could not have been more helpful or attentive. The Riad is in a great position to experience the old city and is a quirky mix of old and new luxury. We took the cooking class and the Hammam spa, both of which were amazing. Special mention to Hosni you sorted out reservations, trips and recommendations. We absolutely loved it here.

I think overall the riad is nice. The room is good but no point having a spa in room if it’s freezing so can’t use. Problem is because they cater for outside people to use the restaurant and bar area and cookery school. As a paid stayer you do not get first refusal so need to book in advance. Shame those staying do not preference. It’s very lively and have good music to listen too. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are very helpful. Shame spa is not open to view unless you have booked slot so couldn’t even look around. So we had spa and hamman somewhere else instead. Shame really as riad is beautiful but don’t feel ever with only 10 rooms they remembered us when we came in from shopping always asked what we wanted when we walked into door ! Great location actually is best feature 2 mins for centre square.

Very cool place. Fantastic food. Jazz super cool. Shout out to Oumaima in the shop. I bought a necklace - not planned but she was so friendly and not at all pushy that I was seduced. The cocktail may have helped to loosen my wallet!

Dear Mark, I just finished a wonderful 4 night stay at your Riad Le Monceau. Your staff was fantastic. Front desk Ayoub went above and beyond. He was so nice and I needed help. He finished up with my purchase of the train ticket Marrakech to Fes, the website was not in English. He also arranged for a driver to Essaouia (that was Abdel and he was great, spoke English well and safe driver) Ayoub was always smiling and asking if I needed anything. I really enjoyed speaking with Maroua, another smiling and friendly employee, she was very nice and twice put me in your VIP section 2nd floor overlooking the water and musical entertainment. Excellent food and Simo the food manager did most of the waiter serving, very nice and friendly. Ghiglam (spelling?) was super sweet, she checked on me 3 times during my stay and made sure all was good. She has made your staff like a family, other hotels try that but don’t succeed. I can tell the staff likes working at Riad Le Monceau and all are smiling. That comes from great ownership. My breakfast person Soukaina was the best, super smiling even early in the morning. After the first day she was always ready with my Green Tea with honey. I hope to return soon.

Spent 2 nights here st Fiad Monceau and although my husband and I had trouble luggaging our luggage to the Riad, once we got there it was extremely warm and welcoming. The riad is extremely cozy and beautiful and the staff are very welcoming and kind. Our room was not cold to our liking but it was okay and we did not have a shower only a tub. We made it work but would have been easier if there a shower. The rooms provide slippers and a robe which was really nice. Another thing that would be nice if the riad provided a iron and board but again we made it work. Overall this riad was a great experience and the rooftop restaurant LA Pergola is a lot of fun in the evening. They also have a really nice live band that performs most nights and the ambiance is phenomenal.

Wow what a gem of a place to stay! We spent 4 nights at this oasis in the centre of Marrakech….it acts as the perfect tonic to the chaos & mayhem of the souks. 4 minutes walk from the main square in the Medina & you are treated as if you’ve just arrived home, without exception, every member of staff was so friendly, welcoming & were willing to do anything to help make out stay wonderful. The food was out of this world, great value & super tasty & marvellous cocktails. The jazz band were great & in the evening the Riad was a buzzing venue in contrast to the calm in the day. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough…..thank you Riad Monceau & all your wonderful staff for a magical visit!

Adventurous and beautiful. A beautiful hotel in the middle of a lively city. Adventurist for the person who want to see and explore the authentic city there are lots of fun excursions to do and romantic if you’re in love. I like to shop. If you want you can stay right in the hotel. There are cooking classes. A spa and jacuzzi. The hotel is intertwined with a jazz club. Jazz every night and a rooftop lounge. The musicians were excellent. The food is authentic and there is a great selection cooked to perfection. Drinks are delicious. I enjoyed the Moroccan tea. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
