This isn't one of the fancy Riads that the medina can provide. But then it is moderately priced. I think we were there the same time as the people who wrote the previous poor review. The place is run by a couple, she doesn't speak any english; he a little so it can be difficult; a bit of french, a...

Riad Dar Baya was immensely disappointing. Firstly, it was nearly impossible to find (do not assume you can take a taxi here or to any riad). Travelling at New Year is always a gamble. Either find somewhere to stay on arrival or book via the net to secure something! We did the latter due to the time of year we decided to travel to Morrocco. This Riad is one of numerous in this crazy city but it has something essential in that it is tucked so...

My sister and I stayed here for 3 days 3-5 Sep originally having booked another but due to roof problems were moved(advised before trip). It is a lovely place to stay, tranquil and cool after the busy and at times overwhelming streets of Marrakesh.Soufianne and his wife Noorah were great hosts, very gentle and obliging. They could not do enough...

I didn't know anything about it before I arrived, but I ended up having the most wonderful time at the riad! The...

My wife and I had a great trip to Morocco made all the beter by our great experience in the beautiful Dar Baya Riad. I'm not one to usually write reviews but will on this occasion as the place excelled in many ways - but particularly in the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Sofiane the host took great care...
