Visited on evening trip out of Morocco for the obligatory tourist camel ride and dinner. Camels were surprisingly fun, we ambled around the semi desert just pre sundown. Delightful dinner in a tent from dusk into the late evening then back to Morroco.. I would have liked to have stayed overnight, look forward to doing this next time.

Went to La Pause for a week end. 30 minutes drive from Marakech. You can stay in luxury tents or hard luxury rooms. It was really nice, the staff was wonderful, and the area out of this world. You can go for a walk all around the canyon. Be careful, the place has no electricity in rooms or tents. Food...

We stopped at this "hotel" for lunch on our way to anther city and WOW. What an experience this place in the middle of no where is! Their service was lovely, the food was great and the "tented camp" setting with the pool and top notch furniture was a sight to see. I would love to go back and enjoy...

Nothing prepared us for the wonderful time we had at this fantastic place in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I took our three grownup children and my daughter's boyfriend and we loved the simple but authentic hut in which we stayed with candles for light and decorated in a traditionally Moroccan way. The food taken in large bedouin...

Our group of nine consisting of two families with 5 children aged between 9 (nearly 10) and 14 years booked a house outside Marrakech for a week during the Easter holidays.... but we also wanted to find something a little different to give the kids a taste of the desert. We decided that travelling 8 hours to the Sahara dunes...

I booked this as part of a retreat holiday through Shannon van Staden at retreats.pro. I have to say I never expected to experience such beauty and peacefulness at La Pause, whilst also learning about mindfulness meditation from the lovely Brian Hilliard. The backdrop was stunning and inspiring. The host, Shannon was wonderful, the staff at La Pause were respectful,...

This is a place you have to check out! It is definitely off the beaten path but that is what makes it so cool. We enjoyed a romantic dinner in our own tent. The service was excellent and each course was better than the last. It was simple food but cooked to perfection. When we got cold they brought blankets...

I booked this as a secret for my group of girls travelling to Marrakech. Booking and initial communications with Sophie were brilliant and we were collected promptly from our riad, the driver was polite and informative. On arrival we were greeted with mint tea and introduced to Erik, the surroundings are impeccable and we were treated amazingly from the off....

We spent a relaxing 24 hours here, appreciating the scenery at both day and night. The food was excellent, a set menu of soup, tart, tagine and dessert. It was a lovely setting to walk around, lots of hills to climb to see the mountains in the distance. There's also a very cold outdoor pool - refreshing after a long...
