Riad Romance is an authentic 17th century Riad in Marrakech's bustling medina. A team of Moroccan artisans spent two years lovingly restoring it into a jewel. An oasis of tranquillity and comfort, the Riad provides a home-from-home experience. It has four rooms, each combining Moroccan...

“You are home” - words spoken by Youness upon our late night arrival to this beautiful riad. It’s the most heartfelt and sincere welcome we have ever received in any place we’ve ever stayed. And….it was how we felt the entire length of our 5...More
I stayed here for two nights with my partner when we first arrived into Morocco.
After the commotion in the airport (allow a few hours for passport control), Riad Romance was very easy to find. We got a taxi direct from the airport, should cost...More
Beautiful riad. Was always clean and comfortable and we were made to feel at home by the amazing and helpful staff. Good breakfast and we were supplied with plenty mint tea. Close to main square and lots of good restaurants nearby.
Small, clean riad, a 15 minute walk to the medina. Not fancy or impressive by any means but reasonably priced with a lovely staff and super helpful owner. I cannot see rating this a 4.5 stars. 5 stars would be the Hotel La Sultana which...More
Everything was perfect! Staff very welcoming and warm.
Room very well decorated and comfortable bed. Really nice duplex.
Breakfast and dinner super.
The terrace is worth the detour.
We definitely recommend it!

I would recommend you let Sam & Youness arrange the transfer by taxi for you. Not all local taxi drivers know where the riad is! We had a return one booked from a night in Hivernage and the taxi driver they usually use wasn't free so another came for us, we were stopping to ask directions which you know even for a local isn't a good idea in the Medina! Tipping expected for everything. You will get mobile phone on loan once you book in so you can be sure in the knowledge you won't get lost!
Breakfast changes everyday with the most amazing fresh juice, a form of eggs ( pancake, boiled, scrambled) lovely local bread jam pastries fruit, it was gorgeous every day.
As others have said, you will get a map and a guided tour when you first arrive which is really helpful, but don't worry too much, getting lost in Marrakech is part of the experience!
