Riad Romance is an authentic 17th century Riad in Marrakech's bustling medina. A team of Moroccan artisans spent two years lovingly restoring it into a jewel. An oasis of tranquillity and comfort, the Riad provides a home-from-home experience. It has four rooms, each combining Moroccan chic with modern style. Guests can relax in the large, welcoming lounge area with its romantic fireplace. Or, laze on the sunbeds on the roof-top garden, where they can glimpse the fascinating medina and spectacular Atlas mountains. Riad Romantic's big swimming pool is the perfect antidote to the heat. Surrounded by beautiful green plants, the pool is in a peaceful, relaxing environment. Riad Romance is conveniently located in the heart of the Ancient Medina (walled old town) of Marrakech, less than one minute walk from the souks, spice Market and two of the main historical sights of the city: the Old Coranique school Medersa Ben youssef, Museum of Marrakech . The Museum of Photography which is one of the highlights of the city is located less than 1min walk from Ours and the Unesco world heritage and famous square Jamaa Lfna is located less than 10mins walk from.

Wounderful riad in central Marrakech close to the souks and various points of interest. We had an amazing welcoming and service from the whole team. We felt at home away from home. We can also highly recommend the 4 course menu. It was delicious

The Riad Romance is a little treasure tucked away in the old city and very near the souks, historical sights and the famous el Fna square. All within walking distance and navigating the narrow streets and getting a bit lost is part of the charm. The Riad is extremely clean. Sam the owner/manager is very efficient helping us to book excursions, providing loads of useful information and answering our endless questions. The staff bent over backwards to please and it felt like a home from home. Must mention the lovely breakfasts which included paratha like breads. My heartfelt thanks to Sam and her team for providing a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This Riad in Marrakech was a lucky last minute find for us. Located in the Medina, down some twisty streets, it doesn’t look like much from the street, but is positively lovely inside. The greetings received were warm and genuine and our room was comfortable. We were so very well taken care of. Sam, the lovely manager/owner could not do enough for us. She planned cars, guides, museum entrances, dinner reservations, etc. She made everything so easy for us. Our four night stay was very special, and I should add the breakfasts were amazing. A very enjoyable stay! I highly recommend.

What a beautiful place! Sam and her amazing team were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help make our stay incredible! The Riad was spotlessly clean, our room was just lovely, the pool perfect for cooling off and the roof terrace great for chilling out. It’s near everything you could want within walking distance. And a welcome bit of peaceful paradise after hitting the city! We would definitely come back! Thank you for a first class experience!

I have visited Marrakesh a few times and this is by far the nicest riad we have stayed in. The host Sam and staff went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble. She helped organise our excursions for us - it cost slightly more than if we’d have organised alone but we had private transfers and peace of mind on everything. No walking to meet the drivers - they would pick us up from the riad directly. We had an at home meal one night and it was just delicious. The rooms, serviced daily, are beautiful and we were unexpected upgraded halfway through our stay. Both were perfect. The walk from the square to the riad is a little daunting at night the medina at first BUT Sam recommended a map app that works offline to guide you back (or wherever else you need directions). Also Sam was on WhatsApp to help at all times for anything. It is about a ten minute walk to jemaa el fna (the main square) The wifi in riad Romance works perfectly. .

Our family of 4 adults from Atlanta , U. S. A , stayed here in 3 rooms from 15th May to 19th May for our first time in Marrakech and had a great time at this Riad. Samira and Youness are amazing hosts and they made us feel at home. They guided us with all the info we needed and booked all our taxis and massages. Youness even fixed last minute hiccups by arranging a tailor and Samira explained us more of Morrocco. culture and even dropped us at the palace. We felt like staying with a known family in Morocco. Place is so clean and beds are made everyday. Comfortable beds. Polite and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Walkable to Souk and Main Square. This is a very safe residential area and we were able to walk at midnight back to this riad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend this riad!

Riad Romance was amazing. The hospitality was out of this world and Samira made sure all our questions were answered. She also gave great recommendations for restaurants, hammas and activities. We highly recommend booking this Riad as it is walking distance to everything.

Rarely have I felt so well taken care of with such ease, warmth and proficiency. Riad Romance is truly a home from home and a haven of peace and quiet inside the Medina. My mother and me had a beautiful room with two single beds which were very comfortable, the cleanliness overall was outstanding and we loved how the Riad had been newly refurbished with the traditional building style preserved. We are huge fans of Tadelakt anyway and the tasteful colour scheme of natural tones is just amazing. Sam, the owner (and her lovely partner) provided us with small maps, tons of information and useful hints and tips about the surrounding area and Marrakech in general. Riad Romance offers dinner if you want that and we took advantage of this service three times. They have an unbelievably good lady chef who cooked us super delicious vegetarian meals and catered to all our special wishes. The breakfast was lovely as well. The guests who choose this Riad are very varied and of all ages and nationalities, it is just so easy and relaxing to stay there. We hugely recommend this to every traveller and would definitely come back here when in Marrakech again.

Samira and Youness were delightful hosts. They were thoughtful, kind and always ready to provide walking maps and other helpful information. They were very attentive to making sure we were enjoying ourselves on our first stay in Marrakech. This included organizing a fantastic cooking class with the excellent Riad Romance chef, Latifah, and a wonderful hike and lunch in the Atlas Mountains. The Riad itself is true to its name – very romantic! And the rooms, pool and rooftop terrace are inviting and clean. We know we’ll return to Marrakech and the Riad Romance will be where we’ll stay.

So we arrived after hearing so many good comments on the Road I had to find out for myself. I was important for me to stay in an authentic place and not big hotels that we can find everywhere. My expectations were met and even more than expected. We received a full hosting and caring feeling from the moment we booked. Samira, the owner contacted me to schedule an airport pick up and even though we rented a car she wanted a driver to meet us and see everything is well with the way. We arrrived to a secret place behind authentic door was hidden a beautiful Riad with little details that you cannot ignore .upon arrival ( cold Evening) we were seated by the pool on a couch and a warm tasty tea was served to us . Our room was like entering a castle with gold fabric big bed and seating area. In the morning we were greeted and sat down for an amazing breakfast made special for us it’s was an excellent experience and will definitely return. Thank you
