We spent 5 nights at Riad Djebel, exploring the sights and sounds of Marrakesh. Julie, Said and all the team were brilliant, and helped us get our bearings in the tiny streets. Lovely breakfasts each day, comfortable and secure rooms, and Soumia's tagine is not to be missed! We loved spending lazy afternoons on the shady terrace, it's such a...

The rooms are spacious, quiet and secure and the central lobby and balcony are perfect for relaxing after a hard day in the town. The staff were very helpful from arrival to departure, giving advice on where to go and what to do. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads and cooked eggs and bacon if required – a...

Sylvain and Miguel, the owners of the Riad, could not make be more pleasant, engaging, and accommodating. The first day they walked us how to the main square. This may seem a bit unnecessary until you learn the route and how to avoid the omnipresent motorbikes that race between the pedestrians. Every morning there was breakfast and if you want...

We arrived via train from Rabot, hot and tired, the riad was an oasis of peace. Miguel served us tea, gave us advice and a good map so as not to get lost. Breakfast on the terrace has us spoiled forever. Can't wait to go back.

We had email conversation with Sylvain the owner in advance, who gave good directions on locating the Riad which was tucked away down one of the many anonymous alleyways in the heart of the old city. His initial guidance was a God send, as locating it ourselves in the Medina’s maze would have been impossible and in the 40c summer...

We stayed at Riad Djebel for three nights in June. Riad Djebel had been recommended by a friend and she was spot on. On the approach through narrow lanes you wonder if you are in the right place but once the door is opened you are welcomed into a oasis of calm. Miguel and his team are excellent hosts and...

Wow, My friends and I travelled to Morocco and stayed here. First of all, Miguel and His team are the very best, most caring, helpful hosts ever! They couldn't have done more for us. Very friendly, this extends to the small team of staff who work there, everyone was brilliant. The rooms were bright, comfortable, cool, spotless clean with lovely...

This was my first time in Marrakech; Sylvian and Miguel were perfect hosts and I would urge everyone to listen to their sage advice. Service was always attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I ate at the Riad on a couple of nights and the food was excellent. Riad Djebel had a genuine, relaxed 'family' feel and was a...

What an amazing place! From the outside you can't tell much from it but once you enter it was like paradise! Francios was there to greet us when we arrived and she was so helpful with everything! She was thorough on how to get places, what to see, food recommendations and was overall just helpful in any way possible! All...

So silent in the noisy medina. Silvan our host was so nice to give us advise. The breakfast was great and the room nice. It's like visiting a family home. Good wifi but not in room. The shower runs very slow which is my only complaint. The staff is there 24/7 and you have no key to the room but...
