Incredibly disappointed with this hotel. From check in to departure our two night stay was filled with consistent failures in every department from the bell desk who failed to deliver our bags until my husband went down after an hour to retrieve them, to check in who charged again for the pay that had been prepaid months before. Then arrived to our room ordered a bucket of ice that never came. We witnessed several times the staff fighting and arguing in full view of guests. Our dinner experience was a complete disappointment with the staff more involved in talking amongst themselves than giving any service. The following day it took 30 mins standing in a line for an omelette and another 20 for a cup of coffee at the buffet. Again staff yelling at each other. Booked in for a jacuzzi and spa and no water or toilet paper in the bathrooms. Room was not supplied with any coffee tea, bath mats or face towels during following days serving. Never in my 30 years of travelling staying on average 2-3 times a week in hotels across the world have I ever had a need to speak to the duty manager. This time it was needed and although Ms Safa was attentive and understanding and promised changes (along with offering a complimentary buffet which we declined as we were not after compensation) I fear this hotel has such a lack of service in each department a full overhaul in each department is required to address the issues.

Check in was rude, plus we got charged twice, no room service, long lines for breakfast, staff were rude and ignored us. Our bags didn't come to our room till I went down 1hr later to get them myself. Save your money, go to back packers. We asked for a main meal with a side dish to have with it, but side dish came when we'd finished, failure on all aspects. Duty manager was nice.

Stayed here in the second week of the Easter holidays,2 adults and a 14-year-old. Lovely hotel with large clean rooms, great pool, and fantastic breakfast. Stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis. If you eat in the restaurants outside of breakfast expect a long wait as the service is incredibly slow. It took an hour one night to take our order, so we had to run to the shopping mall to get some snacks as we weren’t sure we would ever eat again. Hotel restaurants are extremely expensive as well so I’d recommend going to the restaurants outside the shopping mall 30 seconds walk away. Lovely staff, special thanks to Ismail in the concierge team who helped us out. Lousy ATM that regularly took peoples cards away and needs updating. Just 10 minutes from the Medina, although obviously you have to haggle for the Taxi outside the door which can get boring. I know it’s the way of things out there but concierge are saying we should be paying 50 dirhams and the drivers are quoting 100 and then end up settling on 50 anyway. Be prepared to get out rather than get ripped off. We ended up getting a Tuc Tuc back from the Maine Square which was much more fun and the same price. Highly recommended hotel.

All staff are very friendly and hard working, service is a bit slow but was busy due to the holidays. Good variety of food and drinks. Rooms are nice with a lovely bathroom with double sinks. Bed ares very comfy and air con is good to stay cool in the room. Rooms are very clean and get cleaned everyday. There are 2 outside pool one large outside pool and and slightly smaller one. The temperature of the outside pool is a bit cold but fine once you get in the pool. But is also refreshing on a hot day. The inside pool is also big and quite hot. It in a good location located near the airport. Easy to get a taxi to places. Plenty of restaurants nearby in walking distance and a mall on the side of the hotel. Overall a pleasant and lovely experience.

Not impressed, they couldn’t cope with the capacity, rooms were not always serviced, the clientele were very rude and aggressive , lots of men screaming and shouting over sun beds, fighting each other, every day another argument over beds, taking other peoples umbrellas and leaving other peoples children with no shade. The aggression was rather shocking and frightening for children to see. Do not recommend and will not be returning. I must say the staff were pleasant and were trying their best dealing with these sort of agressibe people.

Lovely time at this special place, staff are amazing and made our stay enjoyable. Shout out to Aisha manager of House Keeping who went out of her way to accommodate my family and all the other guests while the hotel was at full capacity. Nothing was too much. From breakfast to dinner, from Pool to Spa.. impeccable service from all. Mrs Din

this hotel is one the most beautiful hotels in marrakech. Location: the location is excellent, being only 15 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minute drive away from guèliz. the medina is also only a 15 minute drive away. furthermore it is right next to buddha bar, menara shopping mall and carre four (a supermarket). 2 min walk away is burger king, costa, paul’s and other food options. Food: i went for the breakfast only option and there was a huge continental and local buffet spread. i would recommend grabbing your food and sitting at one of the tables by the pool. there are 3 other restaurants on site including continental buffet, italian and moroccan cuisine. bella lounge has really good atmosphere especially if you are looking for good music and shisha. i didn’t opt for the all inclusive option so not sure how that works. there is also a poolside restaurant - I would recommend their margarita pizzas. the salads are not so good at the poolside restaurant. Pools: there are 2 indoor, 2 outdoor pools. the main outdoor pool area can get really busy during peak times and all the sunbeds are likely to be taken up quickly. however i will say that the pool water was absolutely freezing despite the weather being 30 degrees celsius. it was so cold in fact that only a few people would be swimming and everyone else would lounge around the pool. same situation for the smaller outdoor pool however it is much more quiet. Indoor pool is huge and water is not too warm but not too cold. there are no changing rooms however so you will have to go back to your room to shower and change. there are 2 male and 2 female showers in the indoor pool area and there are not so clean as compared to the room so it is worth going back instead. Rooms: Depending on the room you choose, the view is amazing. I had a poolside view and could watch sunrise from my balcony which was really nice. Rooms are large and if you are a group of 3 you can easily fit on their large double bed. amenities in the room are up to standard and overall really clean. cleaners visit everyday and will clean up really well. toilets and shower space is large and comfortable. General: hotel itself is so large that sometimes it’s a hassle walking from your room to the reception. the atmosphere and vibe of the place is amazing and staff go above and beyond to help you - in particular Salah - a security guard at reception. Taxis come directly to hotel reception so there is no need to worry about transport. you can ask the concierge to help you negotiate prices with the taxi drivers. the hotel seems generally smoker friendly however there are many smoke free areas for those travelling with children. overall i loved my stay at this hotel and will definitely be back in the future!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Savoy el Grand is every thing you would expect:~ * It is exceptionally clean. * Large rooms with all facilities including: a safe, iron, tea and coffee making facility, bottled water, TV and satellite, balcony, ATM, Spa etc *Three restaurants on site. * Polite and accommodating staff (helped us with an early check in). * Great range of breakfast. * Beautiful swimming areas both outdoors and indoors. * Connected to Menara Mall. * Has a supermarket right next to it ~ Carrefour Marrakesh for your basic needs. * Costa Coffee, Papa John’s Pizza, Burger King and other eateries just outside. * 5 min walk to Menara Gardens. * A 10 min taxi ride to the Medina (100dhms). * The famous Buddha Bar is next to it- which is a restaurant with great shows (Open from 8:00 pm to 3 :00 am). If you like a table, book in advance to get a table closer to the stage. *Beautiful Fountain Show in the evening outside Menara Mall. We were a family of four with 2 adult children and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 5 star all the way!

This high-end hotel is surprisingly value for money as for its facilities (especially spacious comfortable and well furnished rooms). Breakfast is varied and delicious - the 3 on-site restaurants (italian, moroccan and intl) are a little overpriced vis-a-vis with the Marrakesh standards (many restaurants just round the corner from the Hotel). The adiacent Mall gives extra services and can be accessed from the pool. The pool staff is attentive and always ready to help with the chores of finding a good sunny spot at busy times (Mocrif is a big help). The Concierge is always ready to find a taxi (beware of fixed price, always ask the driver upon boarding), and gives help with very interesting excursions (we recommend Agafay desert Atv-Camel-dinner show). Ask for Ismail for best deals on experiences!
