The hospitality of the staff here was the highlight of my trip to Marrakech. They are attentive and made my first solo trip seamless. Speacial thanks to Mustapha for helping me at all points of my activities and adapting to my whims. I would 100% recommend this as the riad of choice. When I wouldn't get a cab Mustapha took me around on his bike.lol.

I stayed here with a group of water colorists in October and coming back to this cool, peaceful, beautiful riad after a hot day in busy Marrakech was heaven. The renovations are authentic Moroccan but quiet, sophisticated and not over-wrought. Air-conditioned guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully styled with unique antique pieces and hand-tinted plaster walls. Their traditional Moroccan food was the best we had anywhere - delicious, cooked and served with love by the friendly and helpful staff. I hope to return with my family next year.

We hosted a painting holiday here in October and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Maria and her staff we incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond to help and make us feel at home. The Riad is the perfect place to retreat to after the bustle of the Medina and Souk. It’s radiated a calm atmosphere that refreshes one after a busy day out and about painting. The rooms and the whole Riad are beautifully decorated and cool after the heat. You must watch the sun rise from the roof terrace. And treat yourself to a meal at the Riad. The food was some of the best we ate on our holiday in Morocco. Also go to The Moorish. The restaurant owned by Maria in the souk. Lovely food and staff. We’ll definitely be hosting another painting holiday there again next year. Painting in France…

We came with Painting in France (Simon and Monica Roberts )on a painting holiday. It was our first trip to Marrakech. What a gorgeous introduction to this magical place. The Riad is tucked away on a quiet street. A beautiful door opens to a tranquil oasis. Every room has its own distinct personality. They are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, well lit and the shower has great water pressure. There’s a glorious rooftop terrace to see the sunrise , meditate or have an evening cocktail as the day turns to night. Everywhere you look in the Riad you see intricate architectural details that are a feast to the eyes. The staff is welcoming, helpful and so friendly. Can’t wait to return to this gem of a Riad.

This has to be the best riad in Marrakech Not only are the rooms beautifully furnished but, the staff go the extra mile every day to ensure your stay is harmonious They help, advise, provide special occasion meals and cook the most amazing fresh morrocan food Placed in the old town, this riad is perfect for exploring and very safe too. My husband and I recently spent three nights in Riad Mur Akush and it was wonderful. The owner, Maria, provides great communication during the booking process, and her staff is so very warm and hospitable. We stayed in Suite Amal and loved it. Comfortable and spacious, it was just what we needed. We will definitely return.

This riad was very comfortable. The units were roomy, especially the bathroom, which had a very interesting layout. The breakfasts were fresh each morning. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily. Most of all, the manager of the riad, Mustapha, was super helpful in suggesting parking and restaurants as well as phoning contacts in different cities to provide tour guides
