Jacques welcomed us as did his wife Atika. It was a cool riad with an interesting history as part of the/a palace that would have been significant in it's day. There were many areas/roof tops as we climbed stair after stair for our guided tour. A pretty amazing place with…
Riad Atika Mek is unique! It's decorations, different in each room, give the building a sofisticate atmosphere..and the host is a kind and genuine person who welcome us and made us feel home. I would stay here again. The location is perfect, right into the Medina, the room was…
Perfect stay - very warm welcome from Jacques with a cup of tea and some yummy cookies and a tour of the beautiful palace-turned-Riad. It is like a museum itself! Stunning place with lots of history. Comfortable and spacious room. The terraces provide wonderful views of the…
My friend and I spent a couple of days or so here and found our hosts helpful, honest, accommodating, proud of what they have to share in their beautiful home and their local area too. I look forward to my return in 2017 with a few good friends.
Such an amazing place. Jacques was extremely helpful and kind. He knows multiple languages which made me (an english speaker) and my boyfriend (arabic speaker) very comfortable. I would love to stay at this riad again.
"Do you need good wifi connection? A quiet space away from it all, or a room that overlooks the activities of this amazingly designed house?"
"Ask for an upper floor room with good window lighting."
"Le petit déjeuner très français, alors que le petit dejeuner marocain (crèpe/galette) est très "facile". Le jus d'orange en boîte. La première nuit dans une chambre très bruyante et aveugle : celle donnant sur le patio, alors que toute les autres chambres donnent au moins sur l'extérieur. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre sans problème"
"All rooms will be excellent in this Riad."
"All rooms are different but all are nice and decorated in traditional style."
