Dar Yanis was our first encounter with Moroccan hospitality, and a great one! We were friendly welcomed with some Thé à la menthe and during our 2 day stay the staff proved helpful, calm, prompt and sincere. We had a very charming room at the top of the riad, next to the roof terrace with sunbeds. The shower in our...

At our arrival we were nicely welcomed with a bottle of cool water. The staff was very friendly and maintained a good service during our stay. The room was cozy and was decorated in a Moroccan style. The air conditioning was working properly and quietly. The Wifi was strong in the entire building. The bathroom was small but sufficed. The...

This Riad with lovely interior is located in the heart of Rabat's Medina. Nearby are some good and cheap (snack) restaurants. The staff is friendly, petite dejeuner was good and the air conditiones rooms are comfortable! Also, a rock beach which is nice for photos is nearby (see pics)

I made the bookings at Dar Yanis merely a few days earlier having decided on my trip to Morocco late. I deliberated on a few other Riads in Rabat before deciding on Dar Yanis. I am glad to say that I have made a great choice given that the Riad is within walking distance from the Rabat Ville train station...

We spent one night at Dar Yanis. It is located in a side street of the Medina and easy to reach (we traveled by car, parking costs 80 DH per night). We got very good instructions how to reach the place beforehand by mail. Little hint: it is the second mosque on the main street where the little alley is...

Impossible to find but the young staff goes out of its way to come and get you and show you around. No direct parking but only €9.00 (less actually) for 24 hours in the municipal underground lot. Dar Yanis is a charming place with brass washbasins, beautiful furniture and a really authentic Moroccan decor. The staff is incredibly friendly, and...

Good location in the medina, only 10 min walk from the beach and about 15 min from the train station. Rooms very comfortable and there is a nice rooftop terrace to relax on. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the included breakfast was excellent. Plenty of places to eat close by.

Excellent location. Fairly easy to find from Rabat-Ville train station. We had no problems at all, even tho it was dark when we arrived. Crowds of people however between station and riad. Very helpful management and employees. Moroccan style breakfast , not what I was used to but not bad. Stayed 2 nights , and would stay again. My choice...

“I think the room with the most privacy and tranquility is room jasmin in the second floor because the has no door or window to the inner court.room roses is also in the second floor, where there is a big semi-private terrace with views over the city. Roses has a window open to the inner court.”
