The Dar el Kasbah is a beautiful European style building on the edge of the medina in Tanger and is a great choice of hotel when visiting the city. With stylish wooden floors and furniture, modern art and a impressive stairwell - its rooms are roomy and the bathrooms are practical. The main plus are the excellent helpful staff. Adjoining...

An historic 18 room grand hotel that is clean and has great staff. Located at a pedestrian entry to the old city, this is a well located property. Other comments about the noise level are accurate but the rooms have very effective air conditioning which means one can sleep with the windows shuttered. The property has a well maintained central...

Location is perfect- at old town of Tanger. Fish and food market in a walking distance. Wifi is available in rooms, but no hairdryer-girls, be aware of it:). There is a great patio near the restaurant with additional wifi access for chill out. Staff is friendly, helpful and English-speaking. I recommend it)

Delicious food, amazing staff! Historic building, worth visiting! The manager knows everything about the city, has great recommendations. The hotel has a super relaxed environment and makes you feel at home. It attracks many artists and you can see nice pieces of local artists.

We were very disappointed with Riad el Kasbah in almost every way. We wrote that we would be arriving at the Riad around 7:30 a.m. for our three night stay because we took the night train from Marakesh, but when we got there, no one would answer the door. We banged a lot but were not admitted until after 8...

This is a fantastic, family run, historic gem that has been updated and upgraded for comfort at an affordable price. If you love the feel of beautiful old buildings with dark hardwood floors and large shuttered windows in high-ceilinged rooms this is the place for you. Add to that the comfort of crisp, white, sheets, perfect water pressure and heat,...

This four story building (no elevator) is more of a hotel than a Riad. The rooms were nice and large, however, there is some kind of cafe adjacent to the hotel and it was very noisy at night. The hotel has a large patio which is nice for lounging around and where they serve a good breakfast. There is a...

I think this hotel offers the most you can get for the money in whole Tangier. Staff is excellent and very helpful with every task. I recommend to have their breakfast, it is huge, yummy and pays off well! For dinner I can, as others too here, recommend that small little bistro/restaurant 2 doors down the road (bar.. something). The...

We stayed here two nights and it is a charming little place. It is centrally situated in the medina and you can easily walk to lots of interesting places in the medina and also the American Legation and Cafe Hafa and the cliffs. It's a great price and the breakfast is really good. It's kind of laid back and you'll...

Excellent breakfast, decent bedroom but the bathroom was a bit cramped. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helped us with every inquiry we made. We didn't eat at the hotel (although it is possible), instead we would recommend Bar Hassan two doors down the road. Doesn't look fancy, but the food is delicious! We traveled by car and found it...
