I would like to give a better rating but the reality let it down. We only stopped off for lunch, the food had a really good flavour, but alas the order for the main course was mixed up in the kitchen. We ordered fish soup and onion soup as starters, it was served piping hot and was delicious. For mains...

this place was so much worth the money. it is beautifully located with breathtaking views from its terrace. We loved the hotel . Only negative points were that the entrance to the hotel is very scary with suspicious people who are very scary. Also the entrance to the hotel for vehicles is very very narrow and only a very seasoned...

Hard for me to understand how there are better reviews for what has become a rudely staffed, extremely rundown shadow of its past grandeur... Will someone PLEASE purchase this place, renovate it properly, restaff it, and capitalize on its marvelous history and unsurpassed location? If you wish to be disappointed and saddened by an historic spot, by all means, stop...

We arrived to Tangier by ferry from Tarifa so getting to the hotel on foot which is just across the port was quite easy, took about 10 min walking. It is close to the madina as well. 3 nin walking to the grand mosque, 5-6 h min to the center of the souk . The hotel faces the port from...

We stopped here for refreshments of mint tea and almond cookies on our recent tour of Tangier. We were very impressed with the hotel, it was a traditional Moroccan design and beautifully clean and neat. Staff were very helpful too!

Enjoyed staying here. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Lots of hot water and decent sized towels. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Work on the roads around the hotel meant it was difficult for larger cars to access the free car park. Would not recommend for people with walking difficulties as this hotel has no lift. Expect prices are very reasonable...

the location was perfect for the ferry port and the kasbah area. the staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. this is a very good fir value hotel and is like a treasure trove and has a certain faded charm. it is fairly noisy in the rooms due to paper thin walls and they really need to improve in the breakfast.

This hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Ferry terminal. From the moment you walk in you can feel all the history of this Hotel. The front desk staff speak at least four languages and will go out of their way to help you. Every wall is covered with a rich tapestry of art, celebrities and supportive patrons. It feels...

What an amazing place this is! History and eccentricity seep from every nook and cranny of the Continental, perched high above the Straits of Gibraltar. It is Tangier's drawing room - bursting with character, and full of characters. Elderly British gentlemen wander around the reception in their dressing gowns. Jimmy who runs the bazaar will proudly show you pictures of...
