We arrived here after three safari camps in Ruaha NP and Selous Game Reserve. Great attention to detail in the decor. We arrived outside of regular meal times, but were offered a great meal in the lobby restaurant. Ask for a room on an upper floor facing the ocean for a great view. It was quiet and we slept extremely well.

We stayed here for 2 nights before a Rovos Rail trip and it was fantastic. It is not cheap but absolutely everything is included. The price also include a taxi from or to the airport. Their website says they will pick you up in their own vehicles but they don't anymore they use a local taxi company. On our first night they cooked us a sea food platter which was absolutely wonderful and included lobster, king prawns, octopus, squid, tuna and much more. Thoroughly recommended

We spent a very happy night at the Oyster Bay after a long flight and before setting off on a safari. What a perfect place to stay! Beautifully clean, with wonderful friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! An ideal stopover in Dar es salaam - would highly recommend.

A bit of paradise tucked away on the coast in Dar es Salaam. Thank you Upendo, Lucas and Tatu for looking after us so well and allowing us to relax so much in the beautiful surroundings. The interiors are stunning. The meals were delicious and very fresh. We particularly enjoyed our huge bedroom with sea views and the bathroom which we oilfield have held a party in!!

We were only here for a couple of nights but it was excellent. The food was superb, the staff incredibly helpful, the accommodation excellent. If I return to Dar Es Salaam because they resurrect the direct flight I will definitely stay here
