It is artwork in colonial splendor, great personal service, food and beverages of highest order, boutique to risk the cliche, an old school club with a modern twist and style. Only 6 very spacious and opulently furnished rooms, fully air conditioned. While an hotel, and with a spa feeling, it has the comfort of home, and much more. Rimflo pool,...

Sebastien and his team were incredibly helpful and Sebastien a very good host. We were here for one night at the end of our trip. The decor is wonderful as well as the art work and the "common" areas very stylish and modern. The food was delicious both lunch and dinner and breakfast almost overwhelming with options Nice to spend...

This is an overnight stop-over hotel - seems to be especially for people on safaris. However, we stayed there when on our way to Zanzibar. It is really top notch - service, cleanliness and food. However, it is extremely expensive - we only did one night and that was over US$1,000 for the two of us ("sharing" a room!). I...

Oyster Bay is a small and sumptuous place Comprising only eight rooms it occupies an anonymous location on the beach front in a elegant part of the city. Once a much larger hotel, Oyster Bay has been redesigned to cater for those guests primarily embarking on a safari or at the end of one. The overall feel is one of...

Located, on a Friday afternoon a depressing "is this Los Angeles?" two hour drive from the airport, Oyster is a beautiful, stylish property, wonderfully overseen by Sebastian and a most welcoming staff. The spacious room - a separate seating area, a bed the size of a small island and bathroom the size of a large New York apartment - was...

This is a truly stunning boutique hotel with amazing staff. It really feels like a beautiful home from home. We arrived after a long flight and were truly able to unwind. A fantastic sea view, lovely garden and wonderful food. The rooms are large and airy. We will be back.

A wonderful oasis in Dar for the start of end of a holiday - we flew in and stayed there on our first night in Tanzania before going on to a safari. We were the only guests there, although it has 8 rooms in total. We were spoilt with the attention we got from the wonderful staff. Not over the...

The Hotel has everything from quality rooms, service, food (They have a fine selection of sea-food), and a nice view of the Indian Ocean. It's a classy place to stay at, hold meetings, take a family for a vacation, or for a romantic stay.

What a gorgeous hotel - small and very personal with spacious rooms and HUGE bathrooms with freestanding baths. We stayed here for one night before going on safari in the Selous. Upon arrival we were told they have no menu and what would we like to eat - they had everything you could possibly want! Sebastian and his team could...
