The double room was basic but pretty clean and without mosquitos. The staff was very friendly ! It's quite well located to take the ferry and they can arrange you a cheap taxi to the airport. We stayed for a night and it's a good deal

We booked it as an last minute emergency one night stay in Dar next to the ferry port. It is very basic budget hotel, not very well maintained. Located on a busy street next to the market and you can not close the windows properly so it is very noisy also during the night. No AC and the fan was...

One night in transit before going to Zanzibar. Very close to the ferry. The manager is so nice, smiling and helpful. We felt safe in this area. The wifi was really good compare to Zanzibar island. Good value.

We spent one night here to catch the ferry to Zanzibar in the morning. We payed 10$ each for a clean room with aircon and fan. You get what you need for a good price. The receptionist checked two times on us, asked if everything is good and helped getting the ac working. Good stay for a very good value.

Cheap and not too bad, but king gulf (just around the corner, same building as barclays bank) has similar quality, with AC and breakfast for 20.000 shillings. Hard to beat that ... Flex (the hotel opposite) is badly overpriced.

Hello everyone, I just arrived Mombasa from Dar. I had booked this hotel online and asked them for an airport pickup. No one recieved me at airport. First time in Africa and quite scared, I took a taxi and arrived the property and found it states "CLOSED" on the main door and all chained and locked! I asked taxi driver...

This hotel is situated in the most african part of town, close to kariakoo market wich is a must-see! This is an area that is not safe after sunset, but charming. The rooms is tiled, the beds is alright, a bit damp. IT has what you need. The staff is fabulous! Friendly and compitent! I could go back just for...

Stayed at the Juba on 2 occasions on the 1 trip. The night we landed plus the next night, then 10 days later when we returned from zanzibar to head to Mombassa. Lets not be mistaken the juba is basic & old, but clean & friendly. The wifi is good (for Africa) & there was always a member of staff...

While the area may not be the safest in Dar, it is certainly lively and interesting. We had no problems in the area and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodations are basic but there are flushing toilets which is fabulous. No hot water but very good wifi in the rooms. We had no problems with bugs...

We arrived at this hotel after a long flight from Australia. It was not really clean, the hot water didn't work and at night it's very very noisy-loud chanting, street fights and feral dogs. Despite this after going to Moshi and returning to Dar, we stayed here again. (Must've been the cheap price) this time it was even louder all...
