What an experience! The staff was wonderful and warm. The food was delicious and the animals were all around us. We saw animals walking right by us. And by animals I mean giraffes, zebras, buffalo and lions. If you are a city person, it will...More

Wanting to be very close to animals, this has that appeal. When you have to be escorted from your " tent" to the dinning area, that is special. The food and accommodations were excellent considering the location, etc. Hot showers was a plus after a...More

We are considering going around the same time next year. Can you tell me about the weather? And is this camp really basic with no amenities at all as compared to most accommodations in East Africa? The tour we are looking into stays here and from the pictures, it looks kind of low-end. Is it?

The tents are very secure and safe from Mosquitos. We didn't see any Mosquitos so I wouldn't worry about it. Just bring DEET repellent for going outside just in case.
