Osero, (the Masai word for "Bush/wild") Serengeti Tented Camp located in the heart of African Wilderness in the Serengeti National Park, gives you endless opportunity to uncover and explore rare world beauty. The best of facilities in our tent, expert chefs preparing the ultimate gourmet feasts, lush green landscapes and rich cultures are only few of the many highlights of this amazing place.

Osero Serengeti Camp is the perfect base camp to explore Serengeti. The camp hospitality exceeded my expectations. The management and the staff are wonderfully helpful and my guide Jeff ‘ the eagle 🦅 eyes’ was excellent. A particular thanks to the amazing manager Abel Mollel and to Rachel and to everyone of the wonderful staff who made me feel so comfortable and much at home ❤️

As part of our trip of a lifetime to Tanzania we stayed at Osero Tented Camp. We had our own luxury tent with hot shower (although after a long hot dusty day on the trails, a cold shower was more appealing), flush toilet and a huge incredibly comfortable bed. Although the tent was great, the friendly and helpful staff were who really made the place special. We were greeted as soon as we parked with wet face towels and cold fruit drinks. At sunset and sunrise one of the staff would escort us to the top of the hill behind the camp to watch the sunset/sunrise. Night was another special time. Laying in bed listening to a lion, hyenas, wildebeest, and birds was a fantastic way to fall asleep. In the middle of the night we were awakened by a buffalo eating right outside our tent!…

Really comfy lodge in the middle of nature, we were surrounded by wildlife and even had a buffalo eating outside our tent in the middle of the night, but always felt safe. Staff were lovely including Elly who took us twice up the nearby mound to see sunset and early morning wildlife. Food was delicious, and packed lunch was generous

Great experience to sleep in a tent in the middle of Serengeti. We even heard lions at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walk to the hill behind the camp to watch the sunset or sunrise was very nice.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a safari and we had the most fabulous time. The accommodation was so luxurious, better than anything I would expect in a tent! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the chef made the most delicious meals with a great variety for breakfast and dinner. They also provided a lovely packed lunch for when we were out on game drives. As the accommodation is in the middle of the Serengeti, you can expect an array of visitors to the camp during the day and at night! We arrived back from safari one day to find a herd of 30 elephants in the camp. It was an unforgettable experience. You can also hear the wildlife outside while in your bed at night and due to the flat plains of the Serengeti it sounds like the animals are pretty close by! One morning we were woken by the sounds of lions and it sounded like they were right outside our tent! It was such an adventure and we will be telling the stories for the rest of our lives.…

We had a fantastic stay at the Osero camp on our trip to the Serengeti this September. We flew in via seronera airstrip and departed via a 4 hour drive to Ngorongoro. The tents were extremely spacious with two double beds and well equipped. The camp has no fences and animals wander through daily. Hearing lions roaring and passing by near the tent at night was a thrilling experience. Our chef Mr. Mustapha prepared delicious Indian vegetarian food for us as per our requirements, and the food was definitely a highlight of our stay. There were great options for us in both breakfast and dinner as well as the packed lunches. Moseka and Rachel also helped us with a comfortable stay. We had a total of three full day game drives, and saw a ton of animals and birds. Our guide Mr. Andrew was excellent. It rained heavily on a couple of nights we were there but our tents were cozy and waterproof. Few downsides. Wifi was spotty. We had 4G via Airtel but that also did not work when it rained heavily. Shower had less water but that may be because they get water through tankers. We thank the Osero team for a wonderful first trip to the Serengeti!…

We were absolutely surprised by this camp, definitely the best place we stayed at during our safari. No pretensions, no useless wannabe luxuries, just the perfect place: an amazingly big tent with all you need, a great chef and cooks for delicious food, and definitely the best staff: they really care for you (and not ridiculously and annoyingly fight for individual tips like other places: here they have a common tip box, if you want you just drop some tip at the end and that's all). Excellent place!
