This was our second Ang'ata camp during this trip. First, we stayed one night at the Ngorongoro Crater camp...then later in our trip, we stayed two nights at the Serengeti camp. These camps were awesome! Most of this trip (and most of my reviews) say I wasn't sure what to expect since we were staying in a lot of places...

We enjoyed our stay at the camp. There were a couple of challenges. The frame of our tent came apart and banged in the wind one night keeping us up and the wireless was really poor. The positives were the tents were well outfitted, food was quite good, staff very friendly and we enjoyed some great scenes.

Staying at the Angata Lodge was a truly amazing experience. Driving up to the lodge, we passed a lion and lioness on the grass and were surprised to be dropped off at our tent less than a quarter of a mile further up the road. Well situated semi permanent camp with nice spacious tents and attention to detail. It is very clean and well organised, they carry hot water tanks for shower when you ask for it, there is satellite internet and Wifi available even in the tent if you are close to the dining area. we had been ther during our Silverwedding anniversary. Safariland Tours of Arusha and me chose it specifically. Great location, elephants a mass in the night.Great staff, maybe a bit to humble sometimes. Food mediocre, but may depend on occupancy , we were alone.
