Let's firstly think we are in Tunis: it is clear that cities like Tunisi have a double soul. You can get luxury but when you walk 5 minutes you feel everything is not conserved in a perfect state. But you know... it's the duality of most of the big cities.
This hotel makes no difference: very high standards but once outside don't expect the same level. Alcohol is forbidden in this area of the city, near the lake. Now, lake sometimes smells bad, but not an hotel fault of course. The hall is just perfect, nice and big. Personnel is warm and welcoming, good.
Room is very beautiful and clean and silent, but if you check-in in the afternoon and don't want to be bothered by room cleaning service, put the tag on the door otherwise there's the possibility that someone comes in to clean your room (that happened to me and luckily I wasn't naked).
The mattress is good, pillows too. Price maybe little high for being in Tunisi's lake zone, that looks like a financial district but at night is dark alley... but Tunisians are great people. Breakfast is packed with typical products, very good sweets and if you like spicy you can try that red hot sauce called harissa but watch out, it's hot as hell.
Would I return here, considering the vast offer in Tunisi? I would say yes, just a little hesitation on price. But I recommend it for those who want to sleep nice and have a good service. It's worthy, at the end of the line.

The hotel was clean and so organised, close to many restaurants and pharmacy, safe place.
I did not like the fact that there was no flashing/washing tube in the toilet which is not hygienic at all and most of the hotel changed this. Also the parking is very limited on we bearly were able to find a slot in front of the hotel. They wrote for us that we will find a special treat on arrival. The only special treat we found was water.

Overall the hotel is worth its value, and we might even come back. Unfortunately we just happen to get a room that had a loud noise coming from its ceiling vent. It sounded just like a large laundry machine was outside the door. But we think it might have been the AC unit. When we told the front desk at check out that it should be looked at since it woke us up in the middle of the night. We could tell that he was not going to do anything about it (bc he just smiled and did not demonstrate any sympathy or concern). We were also disappointed that we had to pay for our taxi since it lists that they have a free airport transfer.

Points the Hotel could improve on
• Reception staff don’t answer the phone so don’t bother calling them from your room.
Apparently the whole Hotel only have 1 room with a walk in shower for people with a disability as all the other rooms have bath tubs.
• We got told that the Hotel has only 1 iron so there is a time limit and the wires are exposed on it too so very dangerous.
• The Lobby Bar need larger glasses to drink out of as drinking brandy and coke out of a flute glass just doesn’t work also the bar staff need to be more friendly and we found them the rudest.
• The buffet food tends to be repetitive and could benefit from having theme nights.
• The rooms are basic and our bathroom had rusty taps and shower head, no bath mats and towels were not getting replaced. No hangers in the cupboards.
• Majority of sun lounges are damaged and need replacing and also beach towels seem to be in short supply too. Pool bar don’t give bottles of water so you have to walk to main building to get a bottle.
• Spa staff and water sport staff keep hounding you even when you have told them you are not interested.
• Guests are also told to write 5 stars reviews while they are there by the staff, this is shocking!!!

The only good thing was the entertainment team as they were amazing and lots of good energy!!!

Booked the hotel for a night stop between flights. Arranged a car transfer from airport hotel. On arrival at the airport the driver was nowhere to be found, a helpful respresentative from another hotel called them and they had forgotten to send the driver, I had to wait nearly 2 hours to be finally picked up.

The hotel has just been renamed and on the night of my stay seemed very quiet, I was allocated a king room and it was clean and spacious, the bathroom was ok, a bit dated and the shower water pressure was average at best.

Breakfast was very poor with little western options

Very handy if needing to be near the airport

Good hotel, you get what you have paid for. Receptionist are frindly , the room is good, bathroom is good too. Breakfast is good with several options. I like the way they cook the eggs. Waiters are frindly and are at call.
The hotel offers a free WiFi and a business centre.
The location is nearby the airport. Restaurants are close to the hotel. There is a nice small café opposite to the hotel.

My first stay in Tunis was here in the Berge du Lac district and it was a solid hotel with Nigel the superb barber located just across the street. Nice buffet breakfast daily and there is not pool. Saudi money financed this district so there is no alcohol.

A clean, chic Paris-inspired hotel with a luxury feel.

In a fairly quiet area at night -which helps sleeping- and with comfortable beds. I sampled both a single and a double room/suite with a large bathroom which made all the difference.

Everything works well, breakfast is varied and tasty and its location close to the airport make up for a good overall package.

Service is efficient and check in/out quite fast.

And to top it up, there is 1-2 really good restaurants nearby (I reviewed some)

I cannot fault this place!
