My headband and I stayed in Hotel Belvedere for 5 weeks and the overall experience was perfect!

When we arrived at Tunis, we were required to quarentine for a week. The hotel sent driver to pick us up from the airport. The hotel provided us extra towels and supplies when we checked in and they brought food to the table outside our hotel room. They have made our stay very comfortable and convenient. After a week of quarantine, the hotel helped us making appointment for PCR tests and we did our tests in our hotel room. The test result was emailed to us directly from the clinic the second day.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, only couple minutes of walking to banks, restaurants, and supermarket. The hotel stuffs are super friendly and helpful. I don't speak French nor Arabic so the hotel stuff offered to accompany to the bank and guided my way to the markets.

The hotel room is bright, clean and quiet. The mini fridge in the room works perfectly. The fitness center is on the top floor overlooking Tunis downtown and mountains. It opened 24 hours and being sanitized multiple times everyday during my stay.

Hotel's breakfast is fantastic including coffee/tea, meet, egg, cheese, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt and a good variety of bread. The food from hotel's restaurant was also really delicious, from grill fish, chicken, steak, pasta, to fresh salad.

Overall, me and my husband really really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Belvedere. Both hotel facility and service are top rated. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Tunis again.

I initially booked 3 nights in August and then later extended for an additional 3 nights so 6 nights in total.

I booked a twin room (tried to get double room but was fully booked) for single person. I was able to see what double and junior rooms are like as my friend booked a junior suite and later a double room.

Pros:
1. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. If I stayed in during the morning and went out in the afternoon, this was accomodated for (just make sure you hang sign on door knob).
2. All staff extremely friendly and accomodating (including security, front desk, cleaners, etc.) which made stay more comfortable. For example, I told staff the kettle was not functioning properly in my room and on the same day it was replaced.
3. It is in a good location and can easily reach most key areas (e.g. Sidi Bou Said, La Marsa, Lake of Tunis, Medina, etc.) in Tunis with a single taxi ride less than 30 mins.
4. Rooms have all basic necessities (e.g kettle, AC, fridge, etc.)

Cons:
- Breakfast could have more of a variety.
- Doesn't have the best view.

If I come to Tunis again, would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I was completely satisfied with my stay at this hotel in Tunis. We were lucky enough to stay here for 6 nights as we came 2 days early to join a small travel group. With our travel group, we stayed an additional 4 nights. There were so many things that I liked about the hotel including a very nice breakfast buffet, the food in the restaurant was excellent, promptness of room being cleaned, very good internet connections, and the location was great. The front desk was always friendly and accomodating. They exchanged USD for Tunisian Dinars easily. The common areas of the hotel are quite lovely. I really liked the artwork that was displayed. There are lots of restaurants and small convenience stores nearby, and the park and zoo are only a few blocks away. I appreciated that the restaurant in the hotel was nonsmoking as well. With the dollar being extremely strong right now, we felt that the price for this hotel was extremely reasonable.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night and could not ask for a better hotel to stay in.
The rooms were nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean. The check in and check was easy and the staff friendly.
We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and the price was very reasonable.

The family that took care of me during my visit to tunis.

I want to say thank you so much for the wonderful memory.

I'm truly going to miss the lovely staff..
My room was beautiful with a nice terrace. The attention to details in the rooms and the on point facilities are really well thought of.

Rania, the lady at the reception was very lovely. Very attentive, great follow ups, works with passion and makes sure that you are taken care of to the end. Her way of communicating with the guests made me so proud and touched. She gave me great recommendations for restaurants, and presented wonderful souvenirs to me and my friends.

Ramzy, the gentleman that took care of our dining experience really made it personalized, along with the chef who also took the time to welcome us. We have had a delicious Tunisian full course thanks to them.

Ahmed, whom I believe was with the concierge was also very welcoming and gifted us lovely dessert boxes.

I want to mention everyone else. Unfortunately, I forgot some of the names >

First of all the hotel consider the guests comfort all the time , they won’t let you without solving your issues , their management highly rated for their concern everything guest wanted . The location is good , the check in and check out service is very fast and nice welcome drinks sweet upon check in , the room is good size and prepared properly except for the fridge need to be more cooled , I don’t think it was ok and cooled enough . The stuff are so friendly and always helpful . I will recommend everyone to book here , really deserve it.

This is a very lovely place. The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel like a guest in a home, rather than just an impersonal visitor. The service in every aspect of the hotel could not be be better. The hotel is conveniently located and nicely decorated. It also has a lovely full breakfast and elegant dining room. My room was large and the bed was very comfortable, too. I really felt at home and will definitely stay there again when I go to Tunis.

We weren't expecting much, but this was an amazing hotel experience in the middle of Tunis. The staff are all very friendly and even those who don't speak English well did their best to try and communicate. The room was comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised with fresh fruits and dates waiting for us, which was a nice touch. Shower has great pressure and hot water. The hotel staff helped us exchange currency, call a taxi, and best of all, gave us a beautiful gift upon checkout. In all my years of traveling, I have never been given a checkout gift by a hotel. Really an amazing place to stay!

My stay overall was good here. The staff are all extremely friendly. The room is well appointed , relatively new furnishing and clean. The location is a 20 -25 min walk from the Medina or a short taxi ride. There are plenty of restaurants around in the area.

Breakfast was ok - a decent spread of options with fresh orange juice. The coffee is awful though - one of those foaming Nescafe machines. However there are two cafes right outside the hotel where you can get a good espresso or americano.

Is there an email address to arrange an airport pick up?
Answer from Theano_10
Athens, Greece16 contributions27 helpful votes
I fear they do not arrange such a thing... You better call them and see if they can arrange it for you. In any case, Tunis center is not away from the airport, it takes no more than 15 min. (moderate street traffic). Hence, you can take a taxi from the airport, you can make the arrangements beforehand and in no case accept more than 30 dinars for the route (rate : 1 euro = about 2.50 dinars) Hope I helped. Enjoy Tunisia !
Answer from KaVee2013

I do not think so. It is more of a hotel for business travelers and functions. There were always business groups coming and going in the hotel. There is a restaurant and a lobby area but not much for activities. There are some cafes just outside for tea and coffee but that is basically it, as far as I was able to tell. Lovely place though...
