Detailed Reviews
This lodge is located a few minutes drive from the city center with its noise (which I was looking for and loved!), and the the taxi costs 5 USD, with the super nice and professional driver, Anesu.
The rooms are amazing, beautiful local decorations, soothing color combinations and always super clean and fully equiped with what one needs. lots of green plants create a calm atmosphere. Very good free wi-fi connection!
The staff is warm, professional, caring and went out thier way to make me feel good when I arrived without nothing but my bagpack after the buss company (ExtraCity Luxury) I travelled with from Harare lost my luggage and wouldn't take responsibility. The staff were checking on me throughout my stay, trying to help trace my luggage and giving me the best support possible. The taxi driver accopmanied me to the market to buy some clothes and basic things and ordered me to burgain and not to be afraid to start of with a, for me, too low price and it worked!
There was this noisy group and as soon as I mentioned it, I received an apology and was moved in to a larger room available away from the group, without additional fees.
Oh, you get help to understand and organize your activitiesin Vic falls in economic way too. and tips on zambia trip.
I would absolutely stay at Phezulu Guest lodge again!
Thank you Carla, Farai, Simba, Anesu and the rest of the crew for a wonderful experience despite my luggage incident!

Fantastic flexible service, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Our stay in Phezulu was exceptional. The staff were all super friendly and helped us to book our daily activities. There was a nice taxi driver outside the hotel basically always available when we needed to go to town. Really great option for staying when visiting Vic falls. We found this to be good value for money in a town with generally very steep prices.

I had a very enjoyable experience. Room was clean and serviced when needed. The water for showering was always hot when ready to bathe. Staff was very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the hot breakfast and eggs cooked to order. If ever visiting again would stay here.

My family and I were lucky enough to stay at Phezulu Lodge in Vic Falls last week and were made to feel like part of the family at this small but well run lodge. We had two well equipped, clean, new airconditioned rooms and the friendly staff were attentive to our every need. Well satisfied

What a great stay and overall experience at Phezulu Lodge! We stayed here a couple of nights at the end of September as a group of 7 (including 2 young kids). From when we arrived to when we left the service was amazing! The staff were all very helpful and accommodating to our needs and helped us anytime we needed anything. The rooms were very clean and lovely. Housekeeping even took some of our laundry for ironing which was a nice gesture.
From the manager Farai, Chenge, Tino plus restaurant staff Alton and team, we felt very comfortable our whole stay. 10/10 for the staff there.
The bar and pool area is great and my young girls enjoyed playing in the gardens and pool.
Overall a great experience from start to finish and would highly recommend to everyone. We will be back again soon! Great job PheZulu!

Phezulu exceeded our expectations!! Deniece at the front test was unbelievably friendly and helped us on many occasions. She is a treasure. Also wonderful were Ruth, Tino, Karin, and Mr. Attwell--I cannot praise them enough. The room was spacious and clean; the bed was comfortable; the breakfast was outstanding! It was especially good that they had their own taxi service (Mr Sheppy) who provided taxi service to anywhere in town for $5.

The lodge is located a 25-minute walk from the Falls and the small town centre.
It has beautiful big rooms with a nice balcony .everything is clean and well taken care of.
The staff was always friendly and helpful with any queries we had.
we also had a great breakfast included in the room rate and they have lunch and dinner for a reasonable price and great food!
The Internet was working fine and the area where the hotel is located was safe.

+1
Clean comfortable and welcoming with plesant staff. Drinks were reasonably priced and the breakfast was good, being part buffet and hot meal being cooked to order. We stayed for Christmas Eve and in the morning were greated by a small present hanging on the door, a nice touch. Would have happily stayed longer but our itenerary did not allow.

My recent stay at Phezulu Lodge in Victoria Falls was a delightful escape.
The accommodations at Phezulu Lodge are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, offering a cozy haven after a day of exploration. Our rooms were well-appointed and clean, featuring rustic yet charming décor that added to the lodge's charm. The amenities provided were adequate for a comfortable stay (though I would've loved some soap at the sinks), and the attention to detail in the room's furnishings did not go unnoticed.
The staff at Phezulu Lodge were courteous, knowledgeable and attentive, making every effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. The dining options at the lodge were satisfactory. While the variety might have been limited, the flavors were generally pleasing.
One small gripe: it was often hard to find someone to serve us at the pool. We had to venture into the kitchen each time to ask for assistance which wasn't a huge deal but seems like an easy fix with a better system of reaching staff when they're in the back. Also, it was never really made clear to us what the bar's operating hours were and it was a little disappointing to come back from dinner off the property and find the bar already closed. Again, not a huge deal.
In conclusion, Phezulu Lodge offers a captivating retreat that allows guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of Victoria Falls while enjoying a comfortable stay. Our stay was memorable and we would certainly consider returning for another peaceful retreat in the future.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such an excellent rating and review! We are glad you had an enjoyable stay with us and our team was able to make you feel right at home! We have made every effort to ensure our rooms are well appointed and fully equipped to provide you with a comfortable place to relax after your adventures in and around the Victoria Falls area. Our dedicated team go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and well looked after throughout your stay with us. They are knowledgeable about activities in the area and are on hand to assist you with everything from pouring your favourite drink at the bar to booking your spot in the line to the bungee jump! We are sorry you had to search for a team member to assist you at times, we are looking into possible solutions to the issue. As for the bar, we do have to close our bar by a certain time at night as our staff live off site. As we are in a national park there are wild animals around town, with their more active hours being late at night. Our staff need to leave before these more active hours to ensure they arrive home safely. We do make every effort to ensure you have all you need before we close down for the night. This does include offering to leave you with drinks should you need them. We also have a water cooler in the dining area that is available throughout your stay. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Best regards, The PheZulu Family

We liked this Lodge very much. The rooms were nice, not as plush as some hotel rooms, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bed was equipped with a great mosquito net although we were fortunate that the mosquitoes didn’t appear to be active at this time of the year. The shower was great with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was good with a number of menu choices. We had dinner at the Lodge a couple of nights too and we all enjoyed tasty meals. We had a number of drinks in the bar. All in all, we had a great time in the PheZulu Lodge where we found the staff amazing. They were very obliging, efficient, pleasant and helpful. We booked a number of tours through the Lodge. The staff also ordered taxis when we needed them and there were plenty of taxis available around the Victoria Falls National Park entrance area.
It should be noted that the restaurant and bar close early, around 8.30 to 9 as staff do not live on site but this didn’t bother us, we had early starts most mornings.
