The lodge oozes vibes of playful sophistication, which combined with the great staff make it hard to leave disappointed. We chose this lodge because of proximity to Vic Falls as we didn't have much time at VIc Falls . Safe hotel , nice enough rooms , staff are very pleasant and serve with a smile . Beds are comfy and clean and have mosquito nets . However , don't go expecting 4 or 5 star luxury here . Our general impression of Vic Falls area was that it is a bit run down (compared to South Africa where we had been just before coming to VF )... So in that context , this is a very nice place. They also went out of their way to arrange a cake for one member of our group , who was celebrating her birthday that day ! We enjoyed our stay and would happily return .

My recent stay at Phezulu Lodge in Victoria Falls was a delightful escape. The accommodations at Phezulu Lodge are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, offering a cozy haven after a day of exploration. Our rooms were well-appointed and clean, featuring rustic yet charming décor that added to the lodge's charm. The amenities provided were adequate for a comfortable stay (though I would've loved some soap at the sinks), and the attention to detail in the room's furnishings did not go unnoticed. The staff at Phezulu Lodge were courteous, knowledgeable and attentive, making every effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. The dining options at the lodge were satisfactory. While the variety might have been limited, the flavors were generally pleasing. One small gripe: it was often hard to find someone to serve us at the pool. We had to venture into the kitchen each time to ask for assistance which wasn't a huge deal but seems like an easy fix with a better system of reaching staff when they're in the back. Also, it was never really made clear to us what the bar's operating hours were and it was a little disappointing to come back from dinner off the property and find the bar already closed. Again, not a huge deal. In conclusion, Phezulu Lodge offers a captivating retreat that allows guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of Victoria Falls while enjoying a comfortable stay. Our stay was memorable and we would certainly consider returning for another peaceful retreat in the future.…

We have made every effort to ensure our rooms are well appointed and fully equipped to provide you with a comfortable place to relax after your adventures in and around the Victoria Falls area. Our dedicated team go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and well looked after throughout your stay with us. They are knowledgeable about activities in the area and are on hand to assist you with everything from pouring your favourite drink at the bar to booking your spot in the line to the bungee jump! We are sorry you had to search for a team member to assist you at times, we are looking into possible solutions to the issue. As for the bar, we do have to close our bar by a certain time at night as our staff live off site. As we are in a national park there are wild animals around town, with their more active hours being late at night. Our staff need to leave before these more active hours to ensure they arrive home safely. We do make every effort to ensure you have all you need before we close down for the night. This does include offering to leave you with drinks should you need them. We also have a water cooler in the dining area that is available throughout your stay. Clean comfortable and welcoming with plesant staff. Drinks were reasonably priced and the breakfast was good, being part buffet and hot meal being cooked to order. We stayed for Christmas Eve and in the morning were greated by a small present hanging on the door, a nice touch. Would have happily stayed longer but our itenerary did not allow.

Initially I was a bit concerned about the location being a distance from town and the Falls, but it turned out to be an easy, safe, walk. The whole trip from the Lodge to the Falls, including the visit to the Falls themselves and the bridge, was 10 miles, and even in the heat of the day, was an easy walk. Taxis are reasonable so for $5 you can save your legs! The Lodge itself is really pleasant - the rooms are of a good size, well equipped (although I would recommend a shower curtain), and have everything I could want. Plenty of international power points (so no adaptors needed), mosquito nets (although I didn't see one), with a big very comfortable bed. The service from the staff was excellent - attentive, informative and I have to highlight Ruth and Karin although all of the staff were very good. The food was excellent with a good selection of drinks available. I really couldn't find anything to be even slightly negative about, so if you are going to VF, then I highly recommend Bayete's group of Lodges.…

The lodge is located a 25-minute walk from the Falls and the small town centre. It has beautiful big rooms with a nice balcony .everything is clean and well taken care of. The staff was always friendly and helpful with any queries we had. we also had a great breakfast included in the room rate and they have lunch and dinner for a reasonable price and great food! The Internet was working fine and the area where the hotel is located was safe.

I stayed here for one night, with 18 friends, on the way to a school reunion. We had so much fun catching up either in the pool or at the bar. Pool towels are provided, and coffee/tea available at all times. Phezulu was the ideal setting for a group like ours, and the breakfast the next morning was a delicious bonus. The staff were delightful, and saved my whole trip, by returning my cellphone charger to me minutes before I left, which I'd inadvertently left behind in the wall - thank you! Bed very comfortable, with mosquito net. Great service, and our group rate was good value by Vic Falls standards. A most enjoyable experience, and I hope to visit again.

Nothing was too much for the staff - excursions, special requirements - everyone was at the top of their game! Spent 4 days - facilities are spotless, very reasonably priced and within 5 mins of the falls by taxi (the lodge was happy to arrange). A really lovely pizza restaurant round the corner too - Reynaldo - if you feel like a change of menu.

The staff at PheZulu Guest Lodge are wonderful, kind and attentive. The room was ample, well-furnished and serviced daily. The lodge offers lunch and dinner, in addition to a breakfast buffet. The meals for lunch and dinner were exquisite. The lodge is situated in a peaceful suburb, only a short taxi ride away from the Victoria Falls and other attractions. A 7/11 grocery store is within walking distance, as well as a restaurant and neighbourhood coffee caravan. It is a bonus to be able to book activities and tours from the lodge.
