I stayed here for 5 nights as a solo traveller. Nice surroundings and great size pool, good location( 5 dollars into town and about 7 dollars to Vic Falls) the staff are very friendly and helpful, special mention to Charles in the restaurant who went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed.. the food is really good here too.. I would recommend booking the sunset cruise that was the highlight of my week, also afternoon tea at The Victoria Falls hotel (15 dollars) ..

My husband and I stayed at the Bayete Guest Lodge for a couple of days in July 2023, and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of our accommodations, and the freshness of the meals. Though it wasn't warm enough to swim, we still sat by the pretty pool to read and relax. Added bonuses were waking up to the distant crowing of roosters and the delicious coffee.

Only stayed one night, wish it was more as it was a bit of a rush to see the falls the next day after a late arrival. Thank-you to lovely Zoe for two things - she helped us get an expensive sleep machine back when my husband left it in our tranfer van. Also for letting us have a late check out so we could see Victoria Falls early in the morning from 8.00 - 10.00, which we managed to do. Totally enjoyed everything about our stay including the tropical gardens, great food in the restaurant, especially loved the decor. Room was tastefully decorated and roomy. Service impeccable, would highly recommend staying there.

A big thank you to the Bayete staff. Having to postpone my trip to Victoria Falls which was due in April 2020, they have been nothing but accommodating and patient until I finally was able to make the trip July 2023. The staff went out of their way to make my stay smooth. The lodge is in a lush green garden, rooms are so tastefully decorated and bed was really comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Bayete.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to vic falls. It is about a 30 min walk from town (though we were discouraged to walk and only take a taxi) Taxi's are 5$ each way or wherever you want to go it's the same price within the town limits. Our room was not ready when we arrived however we did arrive earlier than check in and they were preparing it as we came in. We had lunch once and breakfast everyday. They were very accomadating in terms of dietary restrictions. though they did not have an alternative for cow milk which was surprising. The staff were extremly helpfull and polite. The place is very relaxing and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much

The Bayete has a wonderful staff who obviously take pride in the Lodge. The outside areas especially around the pool are lovely and well taken care of. Clive at the bar is friendly and nice to talk to. The breakfast included with the room is good. However the rooms are very basic and in need of some upgrade. Although the bed was comfortable and the shower pretty decent, the bathroom had a door that didn't really close all the way. Also there were no plugs in the bathroom. Although the hotel supplied a hair dryer, the only plug that was able to accomodate the dryer was behind the night table where there was no mirror. We stayed in room #12 and there must have been a staff area behind us where the we could hear the staff talking early in the morning and later into the evening. This was probably made worse due to the cracks in our bathroom window. They might has well been in the room with us. If Bayete could make some upgrades to their rooms, it would be a more comfortable place to stay. However, it's a good clean basic hotel if thats all you are looking for.

We had the best experience staying at the Bayette Guest Lodge. We were in a triple room which had plenty of space. The staff was so helpful. We weren't able to walk places, but were able to get a taxi service whenever we needed. They arranged our airport transfers and a night a Boma. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Vic Falls.
