This is probably a very good hotel for African standards but for the price they charge, they need to have the little things looked after such as an iron for each room. One member of our group was also over billed and the refund was in the local currency which probably doesn't help when you are leaving. They weren't able...

We had buffet lunch at noon. Nothing special for food. But restaurant offers a nice setting and is well situated at the harbour. Decoration of the restaurant is done with good taste. Is known one if the better placed and higher standard in luanda. Good selection of wines.

I have tried many hotels for 15 years in Luanda and this stay at PRESIDENTE was the first one. Location is nice, right on the end of Marginale, so nice view on the bay. But no restaurant, no shops around. I had been given a room at 7th floor, which is renovated hopfully. The top floors are not still renovated....

Just been to Luanda for a week on business and had to comment on the excellent service provided by the Manager of the place. Had some urgent docs to get off and nothing was a problem. Very helpful and willing to make it easy. Good location for business.

Luanda is probably the most expensive city in the world to visit, so don't expect anything cheap here. That being said the service and security here is excellent which is important in Angola. It is good location if you are involved in oil and gas or government as head offices for the major oil companies are close by as is...

The hotel location is great, right on the water's edge. It has been recently refurbished so it was a nice modern feel, the rooms are very comfortable with good a/c. The wifi works well throughout the property which is great. And it feels safe enough to be here. It is expensive however, by international, if not local standards. And the...

My wife, 2 girls and I decided to stay here on an overnight layover based on a review from some friends. The hotel is nice, with great views of the bay. I asked for a room with a view of the bay, and the check-in staff accommodated us. The director of the hotel noticed us with our children at breakfast...

Stayed at the Presidente Hotel while working in Luanda. The hotel is nice staff is ok. Angola is very dollar driven so is costly. Best to change dollars to kwanza on the street better rate. If go back or use a credit card get around 165 kwanza to $1.00 where on the street get 530 kwanza to $1.00. And so...
