we have stayed at the big five 3 times now in the chalets. the chalets are adequate with brilliant air con, clean, comfortable beds. the pool is brilliant although better maintenance is needed. the pool is open to non residents for a minimal charge so becomes overcrowded and noisy at weekends, this place could be much improved with staff training...

Accomodation could be improved. Over priced for what it is. Bathroom lights didn't work for three of the five nights we were there. Very basic furnishings, definitely needs a fridge! So hot and even esky with ice wasn't good enough really. And for the price fridge with mild supplied would have been good. Restaurant ok, meal good but waited a...

Stayed there for a week while distributing computers into local schools. The rooms are spacious and clean. A good value for money accommodation close to Gabarone. However, the food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was fine, but the evening meals were a real let down. Having travelled from Scotland we made this our base camp. We invited our...

My family and I spent a night at the lodge on our way to RSA and we got good value for our money .. The Family rooms are spacious and the overall ambience is cool and reserved ... Animal lovers will love the different sculptures of wild animals around the compound. overall it was good

this is the worse experience in my life went for lunch with my wife and father in-law, tables were unstable to a point that we had to move to another table and the stuff were very rude..not a place to go unless you're a motswana coz these people were very discriminative.

A little way outside of town but you are not missing much. Visited on a couple of occasions , most recent on Sunday morning to enjoy one of the few pools in Gaborone that still retains water (Pula) 50 Pula to be precise The tranquillity (pictured) made the poolside a refaxing place to be...up until the point the music started...

We were tree people and we looked for a room for three people. Our room as am Africa cottege was big and suitable for three or four people. The price was 850 for a cottage with breakfast. There is also a swimming pool in restaurant area but the water wasn't clean.

We stayed here for a conference, and were very impressed with the pool, the beautiful thatch, and clean rooms. The lodge managed to have a really relaxed and beautiful setting, despite its location amongst the warehouses and used car dealerships of Mogoditshane. Although the food was good, there was not enough. One tea time provided only 2 apples as the...

The rooms are great - big, clean - and the pool area and decor throughout are beautiful and picturesque. The staff, while very friendly, weren't up to scratch when it came to service. Very pleasant stay overall though.

We stayed at Big 5 Lodge for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a hair dryer that was not functioning and when we brought this to their attention, it was remedied quickly. The food at the restaurant was very good and...
