Benoua Lodge is in a residential neighborhood just off a main road. The lodge is home to a popular restaurant which is busy every night. (I never ate at the restaurant, preferring instead to go to different nearby local restaurants along the main road.) There...More

I stayed here for 2 nights, I travel to Ouaga often and have stayed also in other B&Bs. This time I chose Benoua Lodge, cause I have friend who just moved to the same neighbourhood and like to stay walking distance from them.
My husband and I had a lovely dinner at this hidden restaurant on a recent October night. It lived up to its reputation: my braised eggplant (stuffed with tomato and eggs), the lotte tail, as well as my husband's couscous, were both delicious and came...More

The WIFI is free but remember that since you'll be in Burkina, you won't get the same bandwidth allocation as other areas of the world. It is, at best, average as anywhere in Burkina and varies on the time of day you access the Internet. Early morning is good and it gets progressively worse throughout the day until after 630pm.
The restaurant is really good and there's a decent ambience during dinner time providing the rain stays away. When it does rain, there is a sheltered area where you can eat. Since you'll be here in October/November, this won't concern you as the rain will have been and gone so this is a mute point.
The English level of the staff varies but there are always enough English speaking guests to facilitate translation when the need arrives.
You could arrange airport collection with them but I'd just get a taxi for anything between 3000 and 5000 FCFA depending on the time of day when you arrive. The lodge is only about 10 to 20 mins away depending if you manage to avoid Ouaga rush hour. If you're really unlucky, add another 5 mins to your journey... lol...
