Beware!! I am not exaggerating. If this is the worst Tripadvisor review I have even done, it’s because this is BY FAR the worst hospitality experience I have had in my 35 years of travel. The promise of Ile Moucha is tempting. A blue-lagoon experience away from the rambling desert and army bases of Djibouti. The potential would be there,...

The logoon is a place where you can enjoy diving ( only on the afternoon) and snorkelling. I found quite disappointing the food catering as breakfast was only bred and jum lunch and dinner were too simple. Beer and wine were available. The bungalows were simple but clean

24 sun-hungry yogis arrived at Lagon Bleu this weekend, and got what they were hoping for and then some. They had traveled all the way from Addis Ababa to fuel up on yoga, beach-life and seafood, and were enthusiastically greeted by the hyper-friendly lady working at the resort. Her positive attitude and helpfulness did not wane over the weekend, quite...

We only spent one night (a Wednesday) on Moucha Island but loved it. We were the only two there, outside of the manager, cook, and dive instructor. The island itself is pretty barren, but has plenty of swimming coves to explore, if you don't mind the crabs. There's one main beach that fills up with day-trippers, but it never felt...

In November 2013, we stayed for 4 days/nights at Le Lagon Bleu on Moucha Island, with the objective to do some diving near the island. We had arranged our reservation for accommodation and diving well in advance with Lagon Bleu, and only upon arrival in Djibouti were told that we would have electricity (= airco/fan) in our cabin for limited...

I booked to stay here for about four nights, through their offices but when I got to Djibouti and went to pay, the lady who made the initial reservations/bookings made a mistake and I couldn't stay there. I was not happy as I booked my holiday counting on the stay on the island. So do becareful when booking. However I...

Lagon bleu hotel apartment, is at the center of the city, with clean rooms, much better than the other hotels near by. I have also stayed at their resort which is on Moucha Island, the price is too high for individuals, boat can not be arranged except the scheduled transfers and extremely expensive to hire private. the location is one...
