see earlier - my fave spot in accra...in Ghana in fact. Excellent value for money, great staff, lovely food, spotlessly clean and a very chilled and friendly vibe. Well placed to get into town and around. Highly recommended!

Agoo Hostel provides an utterly delightful, comfortable, and welcoming environment for a stay in Accra, and as a perfect base for travel in Ghana. I particularly loved the care and creativity evident in the ways the owner, Helen, has decorated the interior: bright and bold

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your very generous review. Our staff clearly played an enormous part in your enjoying your visit and we have shared your review with them at our recent team meeting. We can appreciate that a communal dining table can be more daunting for some people than others, but we do our best to introduce our guests to each other if they want it and it is extraordinary to see how rewarding connections are made among the people staying here. Thanks again for sharing your impressions of your stay and come back. You're always welcome.

Great place to stay. Save money , meet people and enjoy the cool environment. Breakfast could use a little pep though. Otherwise, it’s in a central place in Accra, easy to get to the city center and not too far from the airport.

I enjoyed interesting conversations with both guests and staff. Everything was organized and there were comfortable spaces for different activites - hang out spaces and work spaces. The large bookshelf was a plus - where I think most people could find something good to read.

Great hostel with incredible staff (Kwasi the runner, Aïnthe (pardon my spelling) the ex-pat manager, Richard the always smiling young man and Sammy always funny, ready to joke and answer my 1001 questions). The hostel is located in Nima neighborhood which is mostly muslim

Hi there and thanks for your interest. In general hostels are good places to meet people and Agoo is no exception. We are centrally situated and it's easy to get anywhere in the city from us - all of the places you have mentioned. The kitchen is communal, so you can cook food that you buy. Breakfast is included in the price of staying with us. The fridge is also available to everyone for free. We don't have a pool. Let me know if you have any more questions. Helen

Hello, Yumasasak, I recall that you can access the wi-fi internet from anywhere in the building, including in the dormitory rooms. Most people seem to use the internet at the communal table on the ground floor or on the sofas nearby. The speed was fine. Being in Accra I think that there were slightly slower times when everyone seemingly was using it, but it was not a problem or annoyance regarding emails and surfing. I have no idea about the speed. It's adequate, but I don't suggest you measure it against what you have at home. As for 24/7, I think it was turned off at night and turned on very early in the morning. I do recommend the guest house. t's very clean and the Manager s very kind and friendly. I shall try to stay there again when I go back to Accra later this year some time. I like the friendliness of the place. Hotels are not quite the same. I hope that you enjoy your stay!, and I wish you good health, happiness, and an abundance of blessings! My warmest regards, Peter
